Why did you pick this product vs others?: Finding a ready-made frame this size with a corresponding mat that also was sized as needed led me to purchasing this frame. There is a slight warp that isn’t that detectable but is there. The natural oak color was fine but was a little more amber than other frames I owned. Good news is that using a grey stain furniture scratch repair marker toned down the color quite a bit. The plexi comes with a film cover, so that was in great shape, but on smaller frames, plexi generally isn’t detectable as not being glass whereas this definitely gives a read as being plexi. Finally, hard to read in the photo on the website, but this frame doesn’t have square edges in profile but has a slight bevel along the inside edge, that I’m sure was done for what the manufactured thought would be a good aesthetic design, but would have preferred it without. A custom frame would have been more costly, so it is a good value, but it does have some flaws that go with the price.
