Likes: it conveniently chops veggies and peppers- which means I don't handle them long enough to get burned by the peppers, and get an odor from the veggies. It's easy to clean, and I mean get every nook and cranny if need be. Blades are super sharp!!! Very manicured looking chops. If I was a caterer this would be a beautiful help to a precision display. Dislikes: prepping the veggies for the chopper. Besides washing them, you will still use a knife to cut them into smaller sizes to fit in the chopper. Not a real big inconvenience, but carrots and celery seem a little tedious as you can not put more than a slice in at a time for maintaining an even speed of chopping. Otherwise, you run into pressing that puppy down with all the strength the good Lord gave you. But the blades are tried and true, so it'll cut, just not as quickly as if you were to do one lengthwise slice. Again, a minor dislike. I haven't tried everything out, but I bought it for the chopping primarily. UPDATE: After 6 months I have tried everything that this chopper offers. Not bad. However, the last few times that I've used it for tomatoes it seems to turn most of it to mush instead of those manicured chops that I saw at the beginning. That lets me know a couple of things: the blades are getting blunt (still sharp enough to cause injury though), and I need to use only very firm tomatoes with this chopper. Pretty bummed out by that. So far that is the only downside, but I lowered my rating. ... show more

It's not actually what I was expecting. I was hoping for a dicer to make things easier and quicker but this product is a bit flawed. For the one I received, don't know if it is normal, it requires a bit of a push, force, elbow grease to use. That alone makes me feel uncomfortable because I feel like I'm going to break it. As you're dicing, I guess depending on what, it can stick. When it sticks, it lifts the top part from the bottom tray. Unless I'm using it wrong, that gets annoying. The blades of the dicer doesn't seem all that sharp for me. Tried dicing tomatoes but got a lot of mush and juices. Onions and jalapenos seem okay for the most part, but still felt like I needed to give it a push to dice all of it. This was just my experience, it does seem alright but was expecting better. Have been playing with my multi functional Vegetable Chopper for a few days now, and really like it. Onions, peppers, Cilantro, Parsley and celery...are handled with ease. Have created some delicious egg omelets thanks to the very efficient way this chopper works. With all the attachments that come with this unit you will never need a knife and chopping board for mincing vegetables again. Even though not needed, the added lemon juicer and egg slicer was a nice bonus to the set. What I like most is the container provided for neatly storing away every single attachment (Even the lemon juicer and egg slicer.) Which is great; considering how very sharp some of these attachments are. What I like least is hand cleaning the attachments. They're so sharp that washing them out by hand can be hazardous to your fingers. Even though I was so so careful cleaning them, I still got several paper cut size injuries for my efforts LOL! Guess that's a good problem to have, but just telling you be extra careful when cleaning the attachments by hand (Those of you lucky enough to have a dishwasher need not worry.) Unit itself seems to be sturdy, but only time will tell. Curious how well the hinge for keeping the top closure fastened to the chopper portion will hold up over months of use. For $20 can't complain though. Believe I have a winner here. ... show more

I was reading a cookbook and the author discussed using a vegetable chopper. So I bought one. I have had it for a few weeks. It chops quite well. A few hints: make sure onions are on the grid in the correct orientation. If not you get onion slivers not diced onion. Must use pressure to chop. Bell peppers cut best with the outside down. Cleaning is much easier if you remove the grid. Chopping is easy. I like the size of the container underneath. Changing the grid is easy. Although I thought the other tools were silly I have found that the vegetable peeler makes nice sized and attractive carrot slivers. I like the product more than I thought I would ... show more

    • The Design Is Flawed or the Thing is Broken
Either the instructions to attach the pusher insert to the pusher are non-existent or the thing is broken. In the unit I received there is no way to fix the top insert so that it doesn't fall out when you go to push down to meet the cutting blade. If you can't do that, the thing is unstable and useless. And there is NO customer service. Buy a different one, if you want this. This seems very flimsy as well. ... show more

This thing really works, and the extra tools a bonus. Very sharp! I have problems chopping vegetables and peeling anything. I have a muscular dystrophy disease. I was able to accomplish in a 1/4 of a time. Cleaning is a little extra, but they give you the tools for that too. Finally a gadget I didn't waste my money on. Time and strength saver. ... show more
