It works. It looks, feels, and performs like a quality "I got what I paid for, maybe a bit more," product. The connections are clearly NOT Neutrik (nor should they be for this price) but they work. There are some nice touches... the labeling, the strain relief in multiple points. The shrink wrapping. There's even a thoughtful touch on the TRS connections... I think the ring connection has a little piece of tape/shrink wrap to prevent shorting (I know this because I had to swap one of the TRS for an XLR). As I was taking the TRS off I was impressed at this little thoughtful detail to prevent accidental shorting. 15' is getting us from the mixer table, down to the floor, and then about 8 feet of separation from the PA gear which is perfect. Then all you do is label the XLR's with the corresponding input and then tell your buddy at the mixer to, "Plug wire 1 into hole 1, wire 2 into hole 2," and you're off! Not only has this timesaver lightened my load, it's also letting my less-technical partner participate more in the PA configuration because everything is, "Idiot proof," (his words, not mine... although I agree). One thing to remember... your board might not send +48v over TRS. Mine doesn't. I should've thought of that. If you have a condenser or a preamp that need phantom then grab a $5 Neutrik and make the swap. That's what I did. I can't speak to durability but the wires seem to be 14 gauge copper with decent flexibility. ... show more

I bought this snake to do direct outs from a mixing console to a mic snake. Everything worked perfectly. The cables are color coded by groups of 4, which makes it very easy to identify each input. I will mention that if you're connecting to a console that uses anything over 16 inputs, you will need to buy extender cables to connect, if one input is further away than another. Cutting the bundle does help extending your range, but you run the risk of splicing one of the internal cables inside, as I did. But overall, this is a great cable. I'd buy again. ... show more

Fantastic Cable for the price you pay. Purchased it in June and have been sending audio from an X32 to an Aviom input module. The audio is clean on all 16 channel after almost 5 months of use. The connectors feel solid and well made. The XLR ends fit properly in the mixing console. There's no reason to pay more for this type of snake.
