Purchased this lifejacket for my teenager and based on the size chart it should have worked, but it was WAY too small. The lifejacket fits better on my 7-year-old, who is a skinny little bean pole at a whole whopping 50#. My son is by no means a big boy either but even for him being a slender dude this was just way too small, and he could hardly get it zipped and he was in the middle of the weight requirement. ... show more

I love these types of life jackets because they are lighter weight and they dry a lot easier. Every time my kids grow out of their life jacket, I’ll make sure to buy another neoprene one. It’s less bulky an awkward, but it’s Coast Guard approved so it is safe.
