I got this mattress for my parents. My dad has a worked in manual labor for almost 40 years and has a lot of shoulder and hip pain. He loves resting on it and says it feels really comfortable. He said you don’t feel the movement much if one person rolls over or gets up, which is really nice because he tosses and turns a lot. He hoped it would relieve more of his pain, but the jury is still out on that, hasn’t noticed a huge difference. But overall said it’s a great inexpensive mattress! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've had this mattress for almost three weeks. Not very heavy, thought it would be too soft, did not think of my back pain people feel very comfortable. Besides, my husband doesn't even feel the noise in his bed when he gets up in the morning, which surprises me as a light sleeper. Besides, there is a bed cover that can be unpacked and washed, and my son said that they are going to replace it, too, which is fantastic. ... show more

This is a review for the Avenco full size 10-inch mattress. The mattress arrived well packaged and undamaged. It took probably 5 days to fully decompress after removing the heavy plastic wrap, and even then the cover material had some wrinkles and creases and seemed to be a little ill-fitting. I was expecting a mattress composition similar to a 12-inch mattress I purchased previously from another brand, with well defined corners and an overall quality of build. This mattress is pretty flimsy, with the individual foam layers out of alignment most notably at the corners. The mattress edge also sinks quite a bit when sitting on it. As for comfort, the top layer of gel foam is pretty good -- I'd say it's more plush than firm overall. So, I'd say if you are looking for an inexpensive mattress for a guest room or for a kid, this mattress would probably work. For me, I'd skip the 10-inch mattress and go for a 12-inch, especially if I was looking for a mattress to use daily. ... show more
