I would suggest this one be for setting on direct to floor or floor matt , a bit high and edges are firm for anything up on a stand of any kind ! firmness is a medium grade and provides one with a good nights sleep if one is used to medium hardness mattress, this one is not firm by any means . very comfortable and soft top

I can't say enough good things about the quality of this mattress for the price. When my friend said she bought a mattress in a box I was like "what?" But it came, my husband took it out of the box and within 4 hours it fluffed up to 12". Very, very comfortable!
