I'm only a beginner and I got this violin to learn the basics on. I reasoned that I wanted to start out with a cheaper violin, so I wouldn't feel nervous. Now, I did have two strings snap when tuning. I replaced them pretty cheaply. The rosin that came with the violin was good and useable. The violin doesn't come with a shoulder rest, which is very handy to have, but for the price, I'm not complaining. The sound is very good and not what I expected! Product looks like it would be great for beginners but has many quality issues. The neck and tunnel are poorly made and don't hold a tune as the strings come lose rather easily and fast. Would not recommend this item.

I've had this violin for over 5 months now and it is honestly a great beginners violin. The strings did come unattached so be sure to have someone with you that help you get them attached to the violin and teach you how to tune. Also peg drops help a lot. You get what you pay for. It's not bad for beginners but one string won't stay adjusted. It immediately unwinds it self slightly. But bad enough that strinf can't be played.

Is it great, no, is it good, still no. Can I use it and notes come out Yes. Was it cheap enough for me to find out if I wanted to learn and invest in a better one. Yup. It did exactly as I expected and I think its absolutely on par for its price. Would buy again.

I had to replace the strings immediately. The tuners seem to slide very easily and don’t stay in place so you have to constantly keep tuning it.
