The feet need to be farther apart to lend more stability. My husband won’t use this because the wobble makes him feel insecure. I was recently sick and used it during that time. The wobble was annoying, but I am more sure-footed, so I used it to help me get in and out of bed.

This cane takes some getting used to. I purchased it for a family member and it was a little harder to get used to. She needs it for balance and it stands on its own. It changes your posture when going from a single stick cane to the quad, which is what my family member needed. I don't know that it is super helpful in pulling yourself up though, but I do like the thought that it does? It is light weight and can support the weight of my family member which is one of the primary reasons I selected this one. It does have the ability to adjust height and that is another plus. At 36 1/2 inches long at its shortest adjustment, it is too tall for a 5'8" inch woman. Needs better lower adjustability. I'm returning it!
