At first, they were wonderful! I ordered an 18” weft and had it installed. They were super soft and beautiful after installation. I’ve had them in almost two weeks and only washed once. I use professional salon grade products when washing. After the wash, the hair went from amazing to poor. I was so disappointed because they were so perfect upon installation. It lost all shine and became extremely frizzy. I am having to use a heat protectant everyday and curling the hair to try and make it look decent or wear it up. The shedding has been absolutely terrible. The weft has thinned and become stringy from all the lost hair. I’m going to have to have them removed after only a couple weeks of wear. I’m afraid to wash them a second time and the issues worsen even more. I have worn extensions for years, and this is the first time I’ve experienced any of these issues. To be fair, it’s also the first time I’ve tried this brand. 3/8/22 Balayage Brown & Blonde + 18P613 Highlight Blonde Full Shine Genius Weft Extensions Review I’ve been using Full Shine weft extensions for six months now, and I absolutely love them! Although I’m not a licensed cosmetologist, I’ve learned to install sew-in wefts on myself—and Full Shine made that possible. The quality is impressive for the price, especially for someone new to extensions. While I can’t compare them to top-tier salon-grade hair, I’d still give Full Shine a solid 5 stars. My natural hair is around 14 inches long, and I use the 22-inch extensions for added length and volume. I blend two shades: 3/8/22 Balayage Brown & Blonde with 18P613 Highlight Blonde, both in the genius weft style. I sandwich the balayage tone between the highlight blonde for the perfect dimensional blend. My natural roots are close to a 3N dark brown, so I color the balayage shade using Wella 3N demi-permanent color, which it takes beautifully—better than the lighter blonde shade, in my experience. I’ve also tried the hand-tied weft before and while it added great fullness, the return hair irritated my scalp. The genius weft, on the other hand, is lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for warmer months. Overall, I’m obsessed with Full Shine’s weft extensions. They’re ideal for beginners like me who want quality hair without the salon price tag. With proper care, they hold up well, style beautifully, and deliver incredible value. Go with another brand. I will now only buy Goo Goo. I have tried giving this Fullshine brand so many chances over the years I have bought from them so many times and often when I’m in a pinch and need to get extensions super fast they always tend to be the one brand that can deliver overnight or very quick. Typically really cheap deals. But I guess you’re getting what you pay for if you go for the cheap. Because either you’re gonna get a blend of synthetic hair mixed with real hair. The coloring is not consistent. I used to buy their Ash blonde and when I first started buying it. I loved the color then - but over the years they started making the ash blonde purple. I will never buy that color again. This time I tried to get the golden blonde same thing it still has purple tints to it, not golden. But I can say the weft seems better quality than the other ones I’ve bought from them. Still - the hair is brittle and breaks and looses length SO FAST. One wash and gentle brushing and it’s snapping off at the ends. Basically done for when it gets wet. That’s when you know what the quality is really like. I do like the color but it’s still too purple toned for golden blonde. Had to hurry and buy replacements from another company. Maybe I will learn my lesson and stop buying from this company because they are so inconsistent with the quality of their hair that half the time I buy from them I end up having to hurry and buy something to replace it from a different company. ***update*** This set was supposed to be 22” and after one wash was completely tattered. They promised a full refund then tried to back out of it. Finally refunded me for less than half the price I paid for the wrong product I didn’t even buy. Buyers - just beware that it’s very inconsistent with this brand. I’ve since switched brands and have been happy. I buy Goo Goo now and love them. They actually last. ... show more

Other than these taking for ever to get here! Took two to three weeks. I love these hair extensions! My first time having them installed and they blend match perfectly. I have very thin fine hair, and the band is thinner and worked perfect for my hair. The color match is perfect I get so many complaints on my hair. I noticed it does shed a little, which I have never had extensions so I am unsure if that is normal or not. Highly recommend. Edit and removed one star. TEST THESE BEFORE PAYING MONEY TO HAVE THEM INSTALLED PROFESSIONALLY! I had these sewn in yesterday around 1pm and by 10pm I was having a full blown allergic reaction and thought I was going to have to use my epipens. This is partially on me because I should have tried to wear the extensions as clip ins before having them sewn in professionally, but I can't imagine what is in the band that could cause the reaction. My scalp was on fire and hurt so bad I had to remove them. The itching was so intense and I could not stop digging at my scalp. The wefts as they are still look good and would probably work for some people but I won't be able to wear them, unfortunately. That's a lot of money down the drain because I bought so much, but that's my fault for not trying it out first. I don't know if I'd be able to get a refund or not. Just try them out before a "permanent" install!! (I've had anaphylaxis twice requiring ER visits and adrenaline shots and I have PTSD surrounding the whole thing so I didn't think to get pictures. I was just panicked and trying to get them OUT of my hair and OFF my scalp.) ORIGINAL REVIEW, STILL VALID: I just received these today but won't have them installed for about a month. I purchased the "flat" genius weft hair in #2 dark brown, 24" length, 60g per bundle. I purchased 3 bundles for a total of 180 grams. It was very soft and silky straight out of the package. I washed with clarifying shampoo and conditioned as normal. I used a light misting of Pureology leave-in because the static was unreal. Each bundle was 24" in length, each weighed 61g with the tie and hair net still on them. The to l thickness at the weft was comparable to my $800 extensions that were 22" length, 3 bundles, 50g each. When I first brushed them out, turn again when I washed them, there was some shedding. I did not experience that with my more expensive extensions. Also, the hair I got was wavy and curls at the ends after wetting, which was a pleasant surprise as that matches my natural texture. The color was exactly what I expected based on the pictures, maybe slightly darker but not so dark that it won't work when I color my hair anyway. The texture after washing and air drying is what I would expect of naturally wavy/curly hair. That's going to be harder to manage since I usually blow dry (laifen dryer) and then flat iron curl my hair with my L'ange Le Duo 360. One of the boxes was missing the instruction booklet and clip. No big deal because I have three and the other two did have them but if I had only purchased one, I wouldn't know if we supposed to be included. The ends are a little thin but I prefer that because it looks more natural. I'll include photos to back up what I've said, and update once I've had them installed. 🤞🏻 ... show more

I wore these for 6 months with minimal shedding. They didn’t frizz and held curl well. I would recommend! When I get a new set I will probably go with the same brand but go with the butterfly weft just because they are easier to install.

I love my extensions!! I’m going to be ordering a new set here soon since I am going blonder! They haven’t given me any issues yet and I hope the ones in the future don’t either they haven’t gotten frizzy or tangled! I only wash my hair once a week and only use sulfate free shampoo on the extensions and then I will go in with a deep conditioner! Then I use a leave in conditioner, and a blow dry spray and the color wow spray on them, blow dry them put oil in them and then braid them and put a bonnet on to sleep in!! I know it sounds like a lot but it has kept them in great condition thus far!! ... show more
