    • Firm Support for My Bed!
My bed frame is old and the mattress was too soft. This twin size mattress is firm but comfortable with gel memory foam and springs that do not disturb my roommate when I move. It came in a box and expanded fully in one day. The cover is breathable so I do not get hot at night and the edge support means I can sit on the side without sinking. This mattress deserves negative stars. I purchased based on description and reviews. Not sure if this is a true medium firm because it has no firm to it at all. It is an extremely bouncey mattress. My guess is they are using cheaper/weaker springs than old mattresses as then springs used to add to stability and firmness. If you might suffer from sea sickness this one can be sure to trigger it. Just say no and move along to a different one. I ended up getting an all foam medium firm and it is great. Good luck and sweet dreams in your future....on a different mattress. ... show more

This mattress is nice! It’s very comfortable practically noiseless and it’s easy to vacuum when needed. It’s the perfect amount of soft/firm for my son and I could tell he sleeps better on this mattress. It fit his bed frame great and is just what we were looking for without spending too much!

    • Firm, enhanced edge support but still not quite enough
I got the 10 inch firm hybrid gel memory foam. This is pretty firm, I would rate it 8 or 9 out of 10 for firmness. It's a hybrid mattress. When I feel the sides, it feels like about 2/3 coils and about 1/3 foam. There are different types of foam layered in here. The coils are very firm, but I still sink into the foam a little bit, which is why I don't rate it a 10 out of 10 for firmness. It is not a reversible mattress. I can rotate it 180 degrees to try to prevent uneven wear, but it cannot be flipped. The coils are definitely durable, but I am a little concerned about long term durability of the foam. It has more sidewall support than my previous mattress, but it's still shy of expectations. It's enough support that I don't feel like I'm going to easily roll off the mattress, but when I sit on the edge it flattens. This mattress did not work on my wood slats, I needed to get a box spring for it. It would also work on a platform bed or just on the floor. On the slats it was sagging between slats. My standard sized sheets fit it just fine, I didn't need to buy new extra deep sheets. It's described as movement isolation, and it's definitely better than my previous mattress. But I could still feel when my spouse sat at the edge or the bed or moved around. I find it very comfortable, I sleep well on it. I think it's an above average value. ... show more
