Wow! this is a great mask! I have had several recently, for pool and ocean, and this one is my favorite. Especially because of the anti-fog design that separates your nose-and-mouth exhaled breath from your field of vision portion of the mask, so no fog-ups. Great design. And, the top mount snorkel means no more lock-jaw clamping onto a snorkel mouthpiece. The snorkel slides (tightly) onto a mounting bracket on the top of the mask. The snorkel MUST be installed on the mask for the mask to be used. (otherwise leaves the snorkel mount hole open to water.) Fit is comfortable and snug. The big soft silicone rubber face gasket fits great. This is an adult sized mask. It is too big for my 12 year old ( he really wishes it fit him, so he could adopt it from me) But it fits me just fine. Adjustable wide X straps with quick release latches are handy. Once adjusted and set, I just pull it on over my head, much easier than trying to find the latches and snap them together behind my head. It also comes with a separate Go-Pro type camera mount that clips to the base of the snorkel. I am not using a camera, but installed it anyway. For fun. This also comes with a small instruction booklet and an easy-dry mesh draw string bag. It is necessary to disassemble the snorkel from the mask in order to store everything in the mesh bag. The snorkel ball valves work great. Easy to breath, taking big breathes or small. Fun snorkely Summer ahead.

This snorkel is unique, and quite frankly pretty awesome, particularly when paired up with your favorite flippers and waterproof action camera. I really like how you can breath through your mouth and nose with ease as compared to a normal snorkel where you are limited to only your mouth, which can cause a claustrophobic feeling for some. So this helps to soothe those feelings. The breaths out come out a one way gasket on the front of the mask and the fresh air flows through the whole mask, which helps to eliminate fogging issues. The backflow preventer works pretty nicely as well making it so you don't have to purge the snorkel upon surfacing. If you spring a leak into the mask you can purge the majority of the water pretty easily by tilting your head down and breathing out, forcing the water out of the gasket. I highly recommend. Obviously beards effect the seal on this mask so that is something to consider. This item fits me well and is an overall good value in my opinion.

In the meantime, I tested it out in our swimming pool, and I am quite pleased. SIZING TIP: Be sure to order the correct size. The outside of the large and small masks are the same, but the inner seal is different, according to the size. The ad page has instructions on how to determine your size. I got the small to medium size, in the blue/black color scheme. I am delighted with the clarity of the face plate. It is anti-fog and my vision through the face plate is clear with no distortion. I love the 180 degree visibility using this mask! Concerning fit: I was able to achieve a good fit with no leakage, and the wrap around straps worked great for stability. The biggest plus for me is the breathing system. I like the way the 'dry top' snorkel works, keeping water from entering when a wave hits or I dive under. Plus, I don't have to keep my mouth wrapped around a snorkel mouthpiece, that is the best part. It did take a learning curve to learn how to breathe properly using this system, but it is not difficult. It was just a matter of teaching myself to slow down my breathing. Last note: it comes with a camera mount and also a carrying/storage net bag. The bag has a small lanyard to make it convenient to hang. All together, I am thrilled with this snorkel mask and plan to buy more for family members. Well worth the price!
