Despite the headline, this is a wonderful respirator and I would recommend it any day. I purchased it so that I can use it in my workshop while woodworking, I found it to be really comfortable and could work for hours without taking it off. The reason for my comment in the headline and not somewhere in the middle of this review, is that there are some questions about airsoft among the reviews, and some of them state "this mask is super solid" and even "Sure!!!!", which should be illegal to say when you have no idea whether or not it can leave some poor fella with no eyes at the end of the day. TLDR: .2g 6mm BB with 100-120m/s velocity cracked the glass from as far as 30 meters, which I'd say is VERY not safe to use in airsoft. I wasn't expecting this respirator to be suitable for airsoft but wanted to try it out, so my plan was to test the mask first and shoot at it while approaching it between shots. I thought that a burst or full-auto from 1-2ft away *could* be dangerous, but still started at around 40 meters away. I was surprised to find out that on my fourth shot it cracked the glass by the rubber seal leaving one inch long crack in the glass. Surely I can assume I got incredibly unlucky, but should you decide to test yours — make sure to NOT to shoot in the middle of the glass so you can at least epoxy the crack and use it as intended, should it crack the glass. Nice build quality. Great seal. I can breath a bit better with this vs others masks, even a small powered air mask I have. I had no major issues using it with my glasses. It was snug but it works. It will work fine for my usage for wood dust in my shop. I am going to try to mod it to make a PAPR. Glass is clear. It’s great overall. Glad I picked it up for $60 on prime day

The tinted lens on this mask is actually better than any of my sunglasses, and that's hysterical. The seal is great, I actually wear this for long hikes through smoggy areas, and it certainly holds up to the task. Remember to wear a balaclava with this mask unless you're bald, the silicone straps are SERIOUSLY grippy and taking this OFF without a balaclava will likely be what convinces you to wear one with it. The vocal diaphragm is pretty effective at talking, but it assumes you're in a loud environment and talking from your chest, so don't try whispering or you'll actually have the mask push back against your speech for an instant. Make sure to either breathe soft or firmly, uneven pressure makes the diaphragm skip between inhalation and exhalation cycles and it can cause some intense claustrophobic sensation if you're not expecting it. This mask provided excellent protection while I applied insecticide outside my home. Plenty of ventilation and excellent vision. The straps could be a bit stronger, but I am use to military grade material.

I bought this for an emergency if one ever comes about .. I always like to be prepared . I have seen this type of mask before and wanted one in my home.. I have not had a chance to try it out yet but it seems to look just fine
