My cat's favorite toy was a tuft of feathers and crinkly paper on the end of a long, flexible wand. This toy is now right up there with it! While neither the cat nor I are big fans of the bell (we'd prefer more crinkly paper!) the feathers are enticing and, perhaps most importantly, the wire gives it a great action and makes it easy to play with a cat who's in high places. With the other toy, you're limited by the way the feathers dangle from the wand by a string instead of wire. So -- overall this is great!! The springy movement from the wire is perfect for getting my cats interested in this toy. The feathers spin easily and the ball part in the middle gives the cats something else to grab on to besides feathers. I have two cats and they both went wild for this, one of them even grabbed it in his mouth and pulled it/me to another room while meowing at it. Definitely a hit, and I'll purchase some backup feather parts for when they eventually destroy this. My cats love this toy so much! I’ve never see them more excited over a teasing feather toy. The feather spinner is their favorite, it twirls in the air and looks kind of like a bird. I haven’t seen anything like it before, so it was very cool to try!

I have two Bengal cats and they are crazy about this toy. I’m going to order a second one because they both want to catch the birdie at the same time. My boy, Bacchus, drags it over to me constantly, wanting to play. My girl, Sigrid, drags it back to my bathroom and hides it in the shower. It is really sturdy and well made. Our cats love this wand toy (just about as much, but not quite as much, as their liking for the Cat Dancer). They especially like the triple feather wand toy shown in the ad. Problem is that they like it so much, they essentially destroy the triple feathered toy (rough play, rip the feathers down or out). My cat Muffin keeps sitting by this wand and meowing until we play with her. She's ripped all the feathers off, and the wooden handle came off the wire part, and yet it's still her favorite toy ever.
