Measure the length and width of the surface to be covered, If the surface shape is complex one, sketch a rough outline of it in a notebook and write measurements for each part of the outline on your sketch. 3.Cut the wallpaper to the desired size using grid lines.It is recommended to leave a margin of 2 inch on each side for later adjustment. 4.Attach the contact paper to the surface. 5.press begining from the center to the outer part,eliminating the remaining backing paper little by little. 6.Use a card to smooth the contact paper to avoid wrinkles and air bubbles. 7.After the first roll is pasted, when the second roll is pasted, the two rolls are overlapped and pasted about 5mm. 8.Trim away the edges and then enjoy your time. Also remains in place and stays stuck once you apply pressure. CONS:- I really don't have any complaints. After reading some other reviews it could be user error. Contact paper takes a bit of practice and finding the right type for your specific project. Excellent quality ; Fine texture produces a chic matte finish. I used this paper for accent walls behind my fireplace and under my bar. Installation takes precision and patience but that is to be expected with any wall decal material. After and before. Speaks for itself, this wallpaper is soo smooth and leaves the end product effortlessly elegant. I'm working on updating my office and wanted to do peel and stick wallpaper instead of painting. It's a textured black vinyl. On the back you have grid lines so you can cut straight lines easier. I used scissors and a box cutter.
