  • A first for X Series cameras, FUJIFILM X-E5 features a customizable Film Simulation dial. Neatly placed under the aluminum top-plate with a circular window providing an easy view of the active mode, the dial provides fast access to Fujifilms unique Film Simulation modes that deliver stunning results straight out of camera. Additionally, the dial has three customizable settings, which give users the option to create and save their own recipes for instant recall in the field.
  • Sometimes the best images are made when lighting is low and, thanks to the in-body image stabilization (IBIS) on FUJIFILM X-E5, youll be able to tackle these situations in complete confidence. Providing up to seven stops of benefit at the center of the frame and six stops at the edges, the IBIS system features a new algorithm and upgraded gyro sensor to deliver an improved performance that helps keep crucial images free from camera shake.
  • Image quality is assured with FUJIFILM X-E5 thanks to the latest 40.2-megapixel X-Trans 5 HR sensor and X-Processor 5 imaging engine. This combination brings additional functionality, including a lower base ISO of 125 and deep learning AI-powered subject detection AF across a broader range of subjects. The higher resolution also unlocks a two-step digital teleconverter feature, which crops into the sensor to provide a 1.4x or 2x zoom, giving further in camera flexibility.

I’ve used Fujifilm cameras for about a decade now and this might be my favorite camera so far, over the X-Pro2, X-T5 and X-100VI. Being able to change lenses with a compact body is what I love. The in body stabilization is what I’ve been waiting for along with minor changes like a focus switch on the front and a rear dial! Feels great in hand and I’ve only had this for about a few days here in London and I’m loving it. Don’t really use the filter dial but it’s great that it has FS1-FS3 for custom flavors. Feels great in the hand with or without a case and feels very substantial. Overall a solid digital camera to have in your collection, now even at its price I think it’s overpriced but I had to have one. I think if it were $500 it’s a recommend but this is for more advanced users who want more from a camera at a higher price because there are better options at its price point. ... show more

Great upgrade from old digital Canon, I did order an adapter so I can use my EF lenses. The 40MP is worth so you have the ability to crop without losing the quality 👍📷. Prepare yourself to learn a LOT of options with Fujifilm.

Fujifilm X-E5 is a beautiful camera. I owned Fujifilm X-E1, X-E2, X-E3, and X-E4. I still currently own X-E2 and sold X-E4 to get X-E5. I wasn't very happy with X-E4 with lack of controls. X-E5 is a big upgrade in terms of design and features. If you can afford it, I highly recommend this camera if you loved X-E series of cameras. Many of the people will be held off by the price of the X-E5. It is almost doubled in the price of previous models. Still, X-E5 feels significantly more premium than the previous models. (I do wish it was weather sealed, then it will get less complaints about the price IMHO. I personally don't like redundant dual cards on a small casual camera like X-E5.) With that said, X-E5 is my favorite Fujifilm camera to date. It is a joy to look at and it is a joy to pick up and shoot with. Image quality, IBIS, and AF feels much same as X-T50 or X-T5. Rangefinder style design and solid feel of the camera is much preferred personally. Fujifilm is becoming a camera vendor that is prioritizing "experience" nowadays. You can buy a Sony or Canon full frame cameras with faster and more accurate AF and burst, etc for similar or better price. Fujifilm X-E5 is more fun to shoot with and better for those who prioritize on shooting experience. Paired with small Fuji primes with many film simulations and now with film recipes saves to the dial, it is the most fun Fujifilm camera to shoot with. It is expensive and even overpriced IMHO, but there is not a good alternative. It's 5 star camera minus 1 star for the value. Now, is it worth the price? No one can answer that but you. Like Leica, it seems Fujifilm is trying to set itself as a premium camera brand that sells experience. That may be good news for some but bad news for those who are on a budget. Fujifilm was seen as a poor man's Leica for a while. Now it seems like Fujifilm is becoming middle class man's Leica. ... show more

My first Fuji camera and I am in love. I come from a Sony and Canon world and took me a feel days to understand how to use the focus efficiently but once I learned that, All great. It’s a beautiful with great ergonomics and the colors straight out of the camera are pretty amazing. Just get it!!!

The build and feel of this camera is stunning, and of course it’s gorgeous, but the capabilities are really what sets it apart. To have this much control and image quality in a rangefinder style is a dream. You can go fully manual, fully automated, whatever you like. Plenty of programmable functions and access to the legendary/notorious Fuji simulations. The most important thing is that the X-E5 will have you wanting to shoot every day. I love this new 23/f2.8 lens, particularly for street use, and will definitely be adding a portrait lens in the near future. It’s not for everyone but it’s the one for me. ... show more
