What can I say that so many have already said before. It's good. No camera is perfect but this has just the right balance of tech with simplicity. Don't be fooled by the appearance! There's plenty of power under the hood of this almost boring looking camera.

Switched from Sony!

This camera is absolutely perfect for what it is, which for me is a daily driver that was supposed to be used in conjunction with my full frame Sony cameras. However I like the image quality and form and function so much that I ended up switching to Fuji completely. The colors are great, the lenses are great, the bodies are sleek and produce amazing photos with good dynamic range. Not only has the camera re-introduce the lava photography into my life but it makes carrying around a great camera so much easier.

My everyday camera

I own 3 Sony Alpha cameras that I use for events or semi-pro photo shoots. What attracted me to Fujifilm is the Fujifilm recipes that creates amazing images straight out of camera. The Fujifilm X-T30ii was my first Fujifilm camera and I absolutely love it that I decided to buy this X-E4 for my everyday carry camera. I won't discuss in detail how amazing the image quality is or get too technical, you can find those reviews all over the internet, but I would like to discuss my everyday experience with this camera. First of all, it's great for street photography as it doesn't catch too much attention compare to my Sony full frame cameras. It's light and compact, and when paired with the 27mm pancake lens, it is very stealthy that nobody even cares when you walk around taking pictures. Well, it still attracts fellow photographers, and some will approach me and ask if I'm using a film camera. When it comes to image quality, it takes a while to find the right settings and recipe to find an output that you'll like. The different combinations can produce an almost endless variation of film simulation. The 7 custom settings is awesome to store the recipes, and I used all of them to save film simulation recipes that I use for different scenarios. A lot of amazing stuff about this camera, but I have only one gripe... the autofocus. For someone who got used to Sony's fast autofocus, there's a bit of learning curve to get used to the X-E4's autofocus. It's not as fast as Sony's. For comparison, in Sony I use the wide (entire screen) zone and is set to continuous autofocus with eye detect, and I can get sharp images. But in X-E4, I have to set it to a smaller zone (for faster response) and use single shot autofocus, face/eye detect are often a miss, so I disable them most of the time. It's like using older DSLR cameras. But with Fuji's promise of future firmware updates, this can improve in the near future. So, if you're looking for an everyday camera that takes awesome images, this camera is perfect. But if you're looking for something to use in a professional shoot, there are still a lot to be desired for from this camera. For the price, it's one of the best value for this price range.
