It really depends on your needs. I’m a photographer and filmmaker. I have a feature film on prime. I’ve had several photos published and I do professional work for clients. So, I already own pro gear that meets my needs. But, I don’t necessarily want to take that gear everywhere, every day. I wanted a smaller camera with great image quality for more casual and personal work, and for travel. Also to have a decent camera for behind the scenes shots of my work. This camera definitely works well for that. I already own a Fuji lens and some extra batteries from a previous Fuji I owned. So purchasing this body was kinda a nobrainer. I love the simple and small form factor, leather, and minimalist look and high end feel. The photo and video quality are fantastic.

By far this has already become my favorite camera. It’s easy to hold, has a flat top, lightweight, and yet has the same insides as the bigger cameras. It’s time to drop the huge plastic boxes of the old style cameras and get this quality camera made from lightweight metal. And you can customize everything on a Fuji, every button.

Great things come in small packages

One of the few reasonably priced rangefinder styled digital cameras with multi lens capability. Originally thought it would be slightly bigger but this fits well in the hand. To aid in the stealth quality of the camera, the shutter noise- through the electric shutter- can be totally silent. There is a bit of a learning curve but obviously the menus, buttons and functions have been well thought through.
