It's easy to use. Love the app to customize, it's fast, easy to asemble. Colors are nice, it brings two modes (I like mine a bit wash to give it the vintage feel), prints are super good. I've printed more than 20 on a row and it just goes with it the battery is good. It functions super well.

Social media makes me feel insane and like nothing is real. I long to go back to what life was like before everything was digital. When I was a teenager I would develop all my photos and make collages on my bedroom wall using wall putty, and loved staring at them while I got ready to go out or talked on the phone to my friends. I bought one of these in an effort to bring a little of that back. Now I take photos when I'm out and about, and instead of posting them on Instagram, I print them out on this thing and pin them to a pegboard in my kitchen. I call it my Analog Instagram and I really love it. It makes going out and taking photos fun and inspiring again, and I'm taking them for me, not voyeurs on the internet. The photos feel so much more special and purposeful, and I love holding them in my hands and arranging them on my pegboard and gazing at them when I'm in my kitchen. I love how all the Instax products create sort of dreamy, vintage looks on the printed photos. Really takes me back! For anyone who didn't do their research, be aware that Instax prints do NOT offer crystal clear details. If that's what you're looking for, look elsewhere. People on here leaving bad reviews about photo quality are just dummies who don't think or read before making purchases. Literally the entire differentiating feature of Instax products is the retro charm of the photos. It's a whole art form taking photos specifically with that in mind, composing your images with the intent of printing them the way Instax prints! It's really great with landscapes, architecture, artwork, things like that. The photos are also super small, credit card sized, so that factors into composition as well. I love that they fit right in a wallet. I will say that I tried a Mini Evo camera and hated the UI and the photos it took. I much prefer using my iphone to take and edit photos (ideally RAW file type) and then Instax to print. I got this on sale for like $60 and I think it was well worth it. I paid over $230 for the camera and hated it and returned it. This is a much more far price point IMO, especially since one day the battery will die and can't be replaced and it will at that point be junk. Hoping it lasts a couple years at least before that happens. Speaking of the battery, I'm a bit disappointed in how quickly it lost its charge printing only about 15 photos. I wasn't doing any of the other fancy stuff with it, just printing, and that seems like not great battery life. I have not used any of the little features in the app other than printing or the occasional crop or repositioning of the image within the frame. The rest seems awfully gimmicky to me. Maybe kids will enjoy that stuff? Anyway I can't speak to any of that because I don't use it. I also can't speak to portability, because I don't take it places with me. But it does seem like it would travel well and is super light, if I ever did want to go somewhere with it or take it on a trip or something. I haven't had it long enough to speak on reliability, but will update this review if anything comes up. ... show more

We have a polaroid camera, but the photos always came out too dark or too washed out. With this printer, you can print any photo from your phone and change the contrast to make it just how you want and still have the Polaroid style.
