    • Electric Cord is not connected, and no electric Plug
When the pump said it was 120v I assumed it came with the cord attached to the pump and with a plug on the end of it so I could assemble it and just plug it in and go. I guess it gives you the option to hard wire it the way you want, but it is a pain for me because now I have to wire it and buy a plug and install the plug myself. I do not have the motor skills in my hands to do this anymore so I have to get someone to do it for me. It is not plug and play, it is a lot of assembly required I did not expect. ... show more

    • Do not use this pump with gasoline -
We've been using these pumps for several years. They work good for slippery diesel, but DO NOT USE FOR GASOLINE. Both pumps we had in the gas tank burnt up. These pumps a brushed DC pumps with a rectifier. As the pumps wears there appears not be be enough lubrication and the motor over heats frying the rectifier in one case and actually burnt up the motor brush contacts on the other. Two very scary incidents when the pump is sitting on top of 200 gallons of gasoline! We will not order any more of these pumps. Like the other reviewer said - neither one lasted much more than a year. Total fuel pumped was maybe 400 gallons. ... show more

Do not buy this pump. It is a piece of garbage. Mine didn't even go through 500 gallons before it burned itself up.

    • Bad quality , 2 pump ea. Lasted 4 mnths
Only lasted 4 mnths 1000 glns worth of pumping, recieved replacement that took 1 month to get n they wanted me to send old one in, like it i had all the time in the world and second pump failed again after 4 mnths again

It shipped quickly. Our fault in a slight mix up but shipper was excellent. We've only pumped five gallons with it so far but it seems to handle well.

Seems to be a good product if you're looking for a cheaper option. The only thing that threw us was that it is a one inch hose, which makes sense for the 20gpm. Simple fix on our end as we prepared for it to be 3/4 and just needed to get a couple different one inch parts.

The product is not as described. The product is listed as 20 GPM and 120V. Received 15 GPM pump and it is not 120V. I asked to exchange for the correct product. They sent me the wrong product again. I do not recommend ordering this product.

Junk!!! Lasted 1 year and 1 week. Stick with the Fill-Rite Pumps
