  • Simple, manual siphon that works quite well and moves liquid at a good rate.
Style: SiphonPro Deluxe
I've several inexpensive siphons and this is the best I've found. The flow is easy to start using the bulb and the little brass valve that comes with it. If the source is higher than the destination, you just use the bulb to get the flow started (no sucking on hoses needed) and the liquid transfers unaided. You can speed it up by continuing to squeeze the bulb, but I'm satisfied to let physics do the work. I needed to drain the gas tank on a 900 lb. motorcycle with no petcock. It worked like a charm and the hoses are sturdy, easy to position and comes with clips and a guide spring to set up for a hands off transfer. No need for electrical pumps. The quality is very acceptable, well made. I have a dozen small engine tools and several fuel tanks. This makes my job a lot easier and the tool is fully self contained. Definitely worth the price. ... show more

  • High quality fuel siphon worth the money
I needed a high quality siphon that I can count on to be reliable and easy to use. I have used this so far one time to move 10 gallons of gasoline and it worked flawlessly. Insert the hard plastic tube into your source tank then insert the soft end with the spring into the source tank, squeeze the bulb a few times and watch the gas move through the fuel filter and into the source tank. While this siphons was on the pricier side, I see where the money went. This siphon was well thought out and put together with high quality materials including a fuel filter. ... show more

  • Great but don't make the same usage mistake I did
Style: SiphonPro Deluxe
I think the product is well made and works as designed. But OMG do not try to siphon gas out of a car using the self-starting valve tip!! Ask me how I know... it got snagged on the way back up and pulled loose from the vinyl tube (which attaches with a simple friction fit over a small barb). The valve tip (a copper tube with a glass ball and a spring) fell back down the gas filler pipe -- unfortunately not all the way to the tank. So then the gas filler had a one-way valve pointed in the wrong direction! Near inability to refuel the car. It would accept gas only at the absolute slowest ability of a gas pump handle (and even then it would back up and shut off a bunch of times). Couldn't get it out with magnets or a long grabber tool. I finally got it out by making a wire tool with opposing hooks, jamming it down hard with the aid of a cheap borescope, and snagging the copper fitting. See pics if you make the same mistake I did!! facepalm ... show more

  • Best Syphon for Fountains or Bird Baths
Style: SiphonPro Deluxe
This syphon is absolutely the best! I’m using it for a fountain and it’s perfect. I have tried others and this one is the winner. It’s easy and most important it works.

  • Messy to use/Hose gets too stiff after 2 years/Otherwise OK
Style: SiphonPro
The suction on this is good. The hose diameter is big enough that it will drain a 5 gallon can in about 3-4 minutes. After having purchased and used two of these (about 2 years each), and used each one nearly weekly, I have three complaints. The first has to do with the suction bulb. In order to get good (fast) flow, you must remove the bulb from the hose. If you leave it on, it will take 5-10 minutes to drain a 5 gallon can. These numbers represent keeping the source higher than the receptacle. The system does not work well at all if the source is lower than the receptacle. The second is the "spring" clip. It does not stop all flow when you clamp it closed. So when you go to remove the suction bulb from the hose to improve flow, the fluid continues to pour out. If it's gas or diesel, this can be a problem for hands, clothes, vehicles and driveways! Lastly, the PVC tubing will harden and stiffen after 18 months. By two years, the hose is unusable. The price is too high for the durability. ... show more

  • Great product.
Style: SiphonPro
Works like a charm. I had to reorder it because it was missing a part the first time I got it. But, the return process worked great and I had another one on my doorstep a few days later. I was in a Hurricane Milton affected area and I needed this siphon to remove the fuel out of my two backup generators once my power came back up. Also helped my elderly neighbor to do the same. I may get a second as a backup. This kit has the bare essentials, plus the flow stop valve, plus the holder to keep it in place. The weighted end definitely helps to keep it at the bottom of the tank. Easy to operate. Plus the shutoff valve makes it easier to do the job safer and while minimizing fuel loss. Plus this setup eliminates the worry of swallowing fuel. The pump itself is easy to operate and works great. For those with health concerns, it is definitely a safer option. Probably not a bad idea to keep one at home and one in the car in case of disaster scenarios. ... show more

  • works great - unlike many other pumps I've tried
Style: SiphonPro
This inexpensive little pump works great. I frequently need to siphon gas out of my generator tank. A real pain. I've tried again and again to get a good pump for the purpose - willing to spend a bit more if I could find something that actually worked without making a big mess and never really doing the job. This little pump does the job just fine. Actually kind of surprising how much gas it will pump and then, if you prefer, just siphon and how quickly the job gets done. This is a great purchase for minimal cost. I really don't now feel I need anything better. ... show more
