So this backpack is a little big for my preschooler (age 4) even after being adjusted but she picked it out herself and it does not disappoint. It's large enough to fit the matching lunch box perfectly as well as her school binder and a a jacket. Her metal water bottle fits in the bag as well in the side pocket. As for the lunch box, it fits a rectangle shaped bento box perfect. It's easy to clean with a wet washcloth.
