I bought them just to check them out and to my surprise they met my expectations. Confortable, light weight thick sole, warm, excellent quality. Fit is also perfect. I will be keeping them and I will be checking out other shoes from this unknown, (to me), brand. Get them while whe you can.

I’ve been wearing these boots in my normal size 11.5 and the fit is spot on. They run true to size compared to other popular athletic and work shoe brands I wear. Toe box spacing feels appropriate, not cramped, and the width is comfortable without feeling sloppy. No sizing surprises here. Comfort: These are impressively lightweight for a mid-ankle hiking boot. That was the first thing I noticed. They don’t feel bulky or heavy on the feet, which makes them easy to wear for extended periods. The cushioning inside is soft and comfortable right out of the box. I did not experience any immediate pressure points. The padded ankle collar is very plush, which adds comfort, though I’ll touch more on that below. Quality & Construction: Overall build quality is solid for the price point. Stitching looks clean, materials feel durable, and the sole is firmly attached with no visible glue issues. The tread is aggressive enough to inspire confidence on uneven terrain. For what these cost, the construction feels like a good value. Traction: The outsole provides more than adequate grip for typical hiking conditions. On dirt and loose terrain, traction feels secure and confident. The lug pattern is deep enough to handle moderate trails. Waterproof Performance: I tested them in shallow wet conditions and they stayed dry a couple of inches up the boot with no seepage. For typical rain, puddles, and damp trail conditions, they perform as expected. I haven’t submerged them or pushed them beyond normal hiking use. Most boots leak at the laces, so I wish they would stop saying "waterproof". Durability: It’s too early to fully judge long-term longevity since I’ve had limited time with them. I plan to use them on upcoming vacation hikes in Arkansas, which should be a good real-world test. If anything changes regarding durability, I will update accordingly. Style: This is my one real complaint. The ankle padding is very thick and puffy, which creates a slightly wedge-shaped look. Functionally it’s comfortable, but visually it’s not the most appealing profile. They look a bit bulkier around the ankle than I personally prefer, however this provides excellent ankle support. Overall Value: For a lightweight, comfortable, waterproof hiking boot at this price point, these are a strong value. If you prioritize comfort, true-to-size fit, and practical trail performance over sleek styling, these are worth considering. 4 stars due to the bulky ankle appearance, but performance and comfort are very solid.

These boots make it hard for me to decide how to rank them. The features I love about them are (oddly) also the features I don't like. first off, these boots are LIGHT. When they say light weight they aren't kidding. These are 1/3 the weight of my other boots. So, i love that! However, the lightness of them also makes them feel cheap, and less rugged. There's something about stepping into a solid hiking shoe that feels...right. Admittedly that solid, rugged feeling comes with some added weight. They are supple in the mid-shoe. So they bend well at the toes, which allows you to go uphill or climb rocks pretty easily. However, they also bend well, which so far has created a little rubbing and some hot spots, which maybe will go away when I break them in a bit more. The heel support is pretty stiff, as is the toe portion, so whatever solid feeling the boots have comes from that, but it also makes them a little less comfortable. I think these boots could be a GREAT fit for someone. They are "situationally perfect" if your going to do a short day hike up a steep slope, these would be the boots I would grab. But they definitely don't feel like my all-around go-tos. The waterproofing is decent though, easily step in and out of some puddles with dry feet, if you stay submerged for any length of time though, it will (obviously) get your foot wet- I've never found a true water-proofing boot that also allowed some breathability. Overall a good boot, above average, but not excellent. 4 stars
