These hiking boots are cheap, which you can tell right away, but for the price they're not terrible. They came with some scuffs and marks already on the shoe—like they weren't brand new out of the box or just QC is poor. Kinda disappointing, but nothing major that stops them from working. The soles have this weird dot pattern tread that feels stiff as hell. After wearing them around the house and a short walk, I can still feel those little raised dots pressing into the bottom of my feet through the insole. It's uncomfortable, like walking on a bumpy mat all day. The whole sole is rigid too—no flex, no give, so they don't break in easy and feel clunky on uneven ground. With a good thick insole or heavy socks, they'd probably be okay for light trails or casual use. They grip decent on dry stuff and the upper seems tough enough for basic hiking. I'd give 'em 3 stars—do the job for cheap boots, but the pre-existing marks, stiff soles, and those annoying dot impressions hold 'em back. Might be fine if you add inserts to soften things up.

This is a review for FUDYNMALC Lightweight Hiking Boots for Men by a guaranteed human. This is another impressive boots from FUDYNMALC. If you like roomy footwear, this boot delivers. The boot are mostly mesh panels reinforced by suede (high quality vegan leather per FUDYNMALC) and rubber trims. Looks like this is a full glue construction but really well made. No visual defect as far as I can tell. The boots are very, very light at 1lbs 1oz each side. Memory foam is great but weirdly the heel area feel a bit sunken for me. So far no problem wearing it during the rain. The sole has aggressive pattern and grippy, definitely suited for light to moderate hiking. The boots arrived shrinkwraped, no box, no packing material (other than the plastic frames inside each boot). Maybe this how they are able to offer it at $38, saving on packaging and shipping.

I picked these up in a size 10 and the fit ended up being perfect, which already put me in a good mood. I’ll be honest, I’m not out here climbing mountains or doing anything intense, these are mostly for everyday stuff like running errands, walking around, and generally pretending I might go on a hike someday. For that kind of use, they’ve actually been really great. They’re surprisingly lightweight, so I don’t feel like I’m stomping around in bricks all day. The comfort is what stood out the most. They’ve got a nice cushioned feel without being overly soft, and there’s enough support that my feet don’t feel tired after being on them for a while. I’d especially recommend them if you deal with any mobility issues or just don’t want heavy shoes dragging you down. The ankle support is there without feeling stiff, and they’re easy to walk in right out of the box with no dramatic break-in period. That said, these are clearly not high-end hiking boots, and they don’t pretend to be. The materials and overall construction are pretty basic, but for the price, it makes sense. It’s one of those situations where you get exactly what you paid for, and in this case, that’s not a bad thing. They do the job, they’re comfortable, and they didn’t cost a small fortune, which is honestly all I needed. **Pros:** * True to size, fit is spot on * Lightweight and easy to walk in * Comfortable with good cushioning and support * Good option for everyday wear and mobility needs * Affordable for what you get **Cons:** * Not high-end or premium quality * Materials feel a bit basic * Probably not ideal for serious hiking * More practical than stylish

I absolutely love these beautiful boots. I ordered them in a 7.5 in men’s, because I wear a 9 in women’s. I could have gotten away with a size 7, but the 7.5 will work with a pair of thick socks. These hiking boots have been on the trails in Northern Wisconsin for about 2 weeks. They have seen weather and terrain. Cold, snow and ice, rain, mud, rocks and rough paths. Sometimes no path. These boots made it through that, proving to be rugged and versatile. Some of the features experienced with these boots: Warmth Comfortable Fit No irritation, blisters, sores Fit is spacious enough for thick socks Ties are strong enough Conducive to double knots Ties won’t come undone easily Easy to tie and untie Ideal Support Bottom lug soles are durable for any terrain Waterproof Lightweight Sustainable walking Stability, not slippery With all these features and more, I’d say these boots are well worth the price.
