This toy could have been better quality for the price. I would have rather the main cash register been better quality and done without the cheap accessories. The scale constantly falls off and the scanner cord makes the scanner constantly fall off the holder. The money doesn’t make sense and it goes in sideways. The calculator doesn’t exactly work correctly and somehow it frequently says 6.66 which I don’t love. The microphone doesn’t really work but my kid has a good imagination. I do like it in general because my 3 year old had fun with it. He just likes scanning things and hitting buttons and pretending, but I don’t think the cash register will last more than 3-6 months. For those that couldn’t get the top part snapped onto the base, you just have to push realllly hard. Like to the point you feel like you are about to break it. Then it snaps on. It won’t be coming back off after that. If I had to do it again, I would ultimately choose a better quality version of this.

Bought this a month or two ago for a Christmas present. Opened it today (December 25th) at 7am and by 6pm the buttons stopped working. Currently the only button that works is the on button but nothing else. The hand scanner, off button, numbers and food pictures do not function at all. It is super small but I was okay with it because I should have read the description better….but after not even a full day of use it’s a paperweight. I might feel a little better about the buttons not working if the money at least fit in the drawer well but it doesn’t. The money has to be put in sideways (unlike an actual cash register) which also means you won’t have the ability to put the bills in side by side for better access when child is giving change back. I do not recommend based on quality and size. This had wonderful reviews so I am incredibly disappointed.
