Easy to set up, but the filter is incredibly loud. Started off quiet. However, within a few days became very loud. Checked everything at least 5 times to see if something was loose and it wasn’t. It is in the pump

I really like this 3 gallon aquarium kit. I am currently cycling it and planning to use it for a betta fish. So far, I am happy with the quality and the overall setup. The tank comes with the main things you need to get started, including the tank, lid, light, and filtration. All you really need to add is gravel or substrate, decorations, and of course the proper water conditioner and cycling time before adding fish. After that, it is pretty much ready to roll. The glass is nice and clear, and the tank looks clean and sharp once set up. It was also packaged well, which is always important with anything glass. Nothing felt flimsy or cheaply thrown together. It's really quiet too. I like that it is compact but still gives you enough room to make a nice little aquascape. For a small desktop, bedroom, office, or betta setup, it works very well. Overall, this is a good quality little starter tank. It looks nice, includes the basics, and makes setting up a small aquarium easy.

This 3-gallon starter kit is a great size for a small setup, and it arrived really well-packaged with all the necessary components included. The build quality of the tank itself is nice, and having the filter and light integrated into a "no-install" kit makes it very convenient for getting a small aquatic environment up and running quickly. It has a sleek look that doesn’t take up too much counter space, making it a solid choice for a desktop or a small corner of a room. However, the setup process was a bit of a puzzle because a few of the internal parts had shifted or dislocated during shipping. Since there weren't any instructions included in the box, I had to spend some time fiddling with the components to figure out exactly how everything was supposed to clip back together. It wasn't an impossible task, but it definitely added some unexpected effort to what should have been a plug-and-play experience. Once I got everything back in its proper place, it worked exactly as intended, so it’s still a strong four-star product.

This aquarium kit showed up pretty quick. At unboxing, my wife and I looked everything over. The kit included the lighting, waterfall pump and washable pump media. We had to add a heater, substrate and livestock. Overall, we are really pleased with this kit. The aquarium seems to be well made, the light is plenty bright and the water pump definitely moves water. We had a betta in a 1 gallon tank and he seems to be pretty active. He seemed so much happier with so much more space to move around. This is a nice looking compact aquarium. At the time of writing the review, this aquarium was around $50. Considering the quality and the fact that this thing is ready to go. You just have to decorate and add fish. This seems like a pretty good starter aquarium or betta tank.
