Frye purses have very supple leather. If you don’t like a distressed look, you might try darker color. I actually love the beige but just know that it is not this caramel color in description. The size of this crossbody is great though. It is not bulky and front pocket is perfect for any size phone. I love that I can also keep passport within easy reach at airport. I’d recommend it as it’s large enough to comfortably fit my iPad mini too. ... show more

I got this bag in the sky color - so beautiful for summer. I'd describe it as more of a sea green than sky blue. The leather looks and feels top notch. For those worried about dodgy counterfeits, I've had several other Frye bags, shoes and wallets in the past that I bought directly from the company - and this bag seems to be of the same excellent quality. Like other reviewers have said - the bag is narrow, and not very roomy. It's more of a small summer bag when you're out and about, and want to travel light. I use tote bags for work (to carry notebooks, binders, and a laptop) but on weekends, I love to carry a smaller bag. Love it! ... show more
