Ordered a large set based on other reviews (seeking loose fitted vs tight). I’m 5’11” 180# 33” waist. Top was a nice loose fitted fit, would be forgiving if it shrunk a bit in the wash over time. Bottom was hugely oversized, can’t see how it would fit a Large waist well let alone a Medium. The waist did not even stretch at all: the circumference of the Large elastic waistband itself is at least 34-35”. Otherwise the fit was again desirably loose fitted. They need to redo their waistbands so there is a degree of stretch at the target size range. Like every other elastic-waisted garment I’ve ever bought. Returned and will try ordering a single L top and a single M bottom, though more costly and harder to find on Amazon for this brand. ... show more

Theses are good thermals but get a size bigger than the size you wear. I wear an xl but got 2xl because I knew they would shrink some. After, finally, receiving the delivery of the thermals, I found that the material was not as warm, and knitted, as I was expecting. Maybe a smaller size down would have helped. They are a little loose, on the size for me, but I wasn't sure how the sizes were gauged. I'm satisfied with them. Maybe it will get softer with a few wash, but as an undergarment, going to sleep on this means you will wake up with the pattern printed on your body. Fit is fairly good, but it's pretty uncomfortable to wear at night.

I ordered these a little extra large because I am extra large (I'll spare you the photo) and I don't like tight-fitting clothes. Ever seen the videos of people putting rubber bands around a watermelon until it burst? Well, that's what it felt like when I put these on. I guess that's how they're supposed to work, and they certainly did keep me warm working out in sub-freezing weather, but personally, I can't wear them more than a few hours.
