Previously, I had purchased long-sleeve undershirts that are plastic (i.e., polyester and/or other synthetic materials). These plastic/synthetic materials are terrible...they don't allow your body to breathe, resulting in odor formation, and the odors are difficult to remove. I have found that traditional cotton is far superior to plastic/synthetic materials, allowing my body to breathe, rarely becoming odorous and, if minor odors to happen, it easily washes out. Now on to size... I am about 6' 195lbs and typically wear XL. With cotton, I know it shrinks, and I am not one for taking special precautions on avoiding shrinkage. I want to be able to dry my clothes normally. So, I put them through the wash and an "extra dry" dryer session. I'm pleased to report that these fit great. They didn't shrink to short sleeve t-shirts like many cotton long sleeve shirts do. I also test things by lifting my arms to a "T" to see if the sleeves start creeping up to my elbows, and these didn't do that either. The length also remained normal. In addition to the above, the material is soft and warm. I'm throwing out my plastic long sleeve undershirts and replacing them with more of these.

UPDATE. These shirts will definitely shrink if you put them in the dryer. In my case, I wanted them to shrink since they were just a bit too baggy. Now, the shirts fit just about right. Although I am worried if they shrink any more, they'll be too small. My suggestion: If you buy and try them on out of the package and they fit just right, you should get a larger size. I've attached a picture. The bottom shirt ("Heather Black") is brand new. The top (navy blue) has been washed and dried. ------------ I've been searching for a soft, comfortable, and light weight long-sleeve t-shirt for a while. I've tried several kinds, but have generally been disappointed. Some are too heavy, some are too scratchy, some or ill-fitting, and so on. The Eversoft shirt isn't perfect, but overall I'm quite satisfied. The only issue I have is slight one. I purchased a large, which is generally the size I wear. The Eversoft L size is a just about right (a bit baggy) but is does have exceptionally large sleeves around the upper arm. There's a lot of room--If I hold my arms straight out, there's a good three inches of material hanging down below the bicep (and I don't have small arms). It's not a big issue, but I compared it to other long-sleeve t-shirts I have, and the Eversoft is clearly much larger around the arm. This said, I haven't washed it yet. Some reviewers said the shirt shrinks other says it doesn't shrink at all. For my purposes, I hope it shrinks, since it's just a tad too baggy.

Got these last minute for a pink out day at work. I am 5’7 average built and got a large because I read the comments that it would shrink. I gifted one to my co worker and he washed his and stated he noticed to shrinkage and I wore mine as is and I thought it fit great. It’s breathable and somewhat thin so it’s not going to keep you super warm but it’s good quality and comfortable

I'm a big guy and I used this while travelling. Very comfortable and breathable fabric. I did a lot of walking and not once did I feel stifled. It's very soft to the touch and also true to size. Great purchase.

I ordered these in multiple dark colors for work so grease doesn’t show as much. As a woman, I wanted long, looser fitting shirts with material that wasn’t super thin that shreds after one wash. So I ordered men’s shirts. Great price for a pack of 2 shirts! It was like 2 for the price of one if purchased at the local store. I am completely happy with how comfortable these are and appreciate the length as I have a long torso.
