We bought 2 OGM40s for our grandsons, ages 6 and 9. The 6 year-old was barely able to straddle the machine and touch the ground as it came out of the box. We were able to lower the seat about an inch by adjusting the rear shock. A sticker on the rear fender says they are for ages 13 and up, which is ridiculous. There is a little assembly required, but it is explained well in the manual and necessary tools are provided. Assembly takes about a half hour. Don't forget to pump up the tires and oil the chain. While it is obvious that these bikes are not $2000 Hondas, the overall quality exceeded my expectations. The sprockets and chain look pretty flimsey but according to the manual the motor produces only 1.1 Kw which is about 1.5 HP so they may be adequate. Out of the box, the chain is way too tight and I'm afraid might damage the drive shaft bearings if not loosened. You have to loosen the rear brake caliper to adjust the chain. There is no gearbox or manual clutch, but the centrifugal clutch makes them easy to ride for beginners. Both brakes are on the handle bars, though reversed from the bicycle convention of rear brake on the right. Both brakes are cable operated disk brakes which work well. The suspension is adequate for the application with lots of travel, but I can't tell that there is any hydraulic dampening. Wheels and tires are great. We had trouble with the carburetor flooding on one of the bikes and after 2 calls to support they agreed to send us an upgraded carburetor. Customer service gets high marks. They appear to stock replacement parts for most things likely to break or fail. There is no fuel shut-off which is something of a safety issue given the propensity of the stock carburetor to flood and continue to drip fuel. I have ordered aftermarket shut-offs from Amazon. To clean the air cleaner requires the engine be removed from the frame according to one of FRP's maintenance videos. Given the simplicity of the machine, that's not as bad as it sounds. I believe the advertised speed is in the ballpark, they go plenty fast for beginners riding on off-road trails. These bikes are best for absolute beginners in the pre-teen age group. Overall, we our happy with our purchase and would probably do it again. My 5 star rating reflects the performance of the bikes after one week of pretty intensive use, the low cost and the support we got from customer service.

The media could not be loaded. Very happy with this dirtbike! I got this for my son’s birthday. He is 8 but on the small side and it is the perfect size for him. He is able to reach the ground, do the pull start, and rides it very well. This is the perfect starter bike. I was worried we would run into a lot of issues because of the low price as compared to a name brand bike. But so far we have had no problems, and he rides it A LOT! I highly recommend this bike for its low cost and good quality.

Exactly as described. Dirt bike was easy to finish assembling and cranked up easily. It is the perfect size for my grandson and he said he loves it. It’s lightweight but sturdy just in case they aren’t experienced. We purchased training wheels after the first few wipeouts. And it cranked back up just fine after a week of sitting. It looks just as good as the name brands but at a fraction of the cost.

Absolute garbage. It work well two or three times and then started shutting off after only a few minutes while my kids was riding it. I wrote it off as maybe its overheating because its a cheap engine but it doesnt even last 5 minutes now. It is having an issue where it mixing fuel into the oil. I have drained the oil several times and replaced it just for it to happen over and over again. All the seller said was "it could be a em engine problem." No kidding... Warranty is very short. Dont waste your money.

Amazing beginner bike, we assembled it easily in about 45 minutes, starts right up. This bike is very well made of good quality parts. Both my twin 10 year olds love riding this bike and can start it by themselves. The key is a nice safety feature.

My 10-year-old absolutely adores this product! My husband had no trouble assembling it in around two hours, and the ease of assembly really impressed us. The quality and size exceeded our expectations, with durable materials that promise long-lasting use. The speed is fantastic, making it a thrilling ride! (I even got on it! ) We were pleasantly surprised by how well it suits our child's age range; what we initially thought might be too small turned out to be perfect for my 10-year-old. Factor in a new carburetor with the price. Everything else about it is great. Good size for average 7 year old. But buy a carburetor or else it’ll be sitting for a week and a half while you wait on parts to fix it
