Rather than put blinds or window tint on my bathroom window, I decided to give this a go. Easy to use. I just put painter's tape around the glass and painted away with the roller. It looks good and seems to block people seeing me showering.

Although I love the view of my trees, I hate the view of the neighbors and the fact that they can see in, and I hated the sight of the new build in front of our house. So I frosted the main middle panel of our picture window. It only took about 2 hours to do about 3 coats. It’s a tiny bit steady but that’s due to my own impatience. This paint was extremely easy to use. The kit comes with more than I needed. I applied three coats because I needed the privacy. This is my bathroom and I wanted to ensure that day or night I could only be seen from my neck up, that’s why I didn’t paint the entire window. There’s also a very nice view of the front of my property that I didn’t want to cover up. The photo with the woman in it was taken at night so that you can see that it works in a lit room when it’s dark out,. The other thing I love about this paint is, it’s very forgiving. When I was rolling it on, I tried very hard to not leave any thick lines of paint. I tried to smooth it out to the best of my ability, but while it was wet, it didn’t look perfect. It did dry perfect though you can’t see any of those lines. It might also be because I put three coats. Each of my coats were fairly thin and they dried quickly in about 15 minutes. I also made sure to apply it onto a very clean window for obvious reasons. I highly recommend this product. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. ... show more

    • Privacy, natural light, and hard to notice from the outside.

Neighbors walk by my window all day. I wanted to get some natural light in the room, but needed privacy. Was thinking about putting up films, but this looked easier. Hardest part was taping off the window frame. First coat was promising but was still to transparent. Put on a second coated and it was perfect! There are tiny imperfections but you can't see them from three feet a way. When applying the second coat they recommend you wait for it to dry. I just waited 15 minutes. It seemed a bit rough and I could see lines from the roller, so I back rolled it. Once dry everything looked smooth and perfect! I did notice that the edges were the hardest parts to get decent coverage. I took a small paint brush and touched it up. Once dry everything blended together. Be careful removing the tape. If you take it off carelessly, you will pull off the paint/frosting with the tape. My biggest concern was it would look weird from the street, but the frosted window is hardly noticeable, yet still provides lots of privacy. I am very pleased. ... show more

this product goes on unevenly and really looked terrible when it was done. The package came with no instructions, and the product itself is almost like liquid paper that you put on glass. It was streaky, even when it was applied with a roller and did not go on evenly. I would recommend trying a frosted film instead of this paint. ... show more
