Picked this up after struggling with a CV axle job on my Honda and it definitely made the process smoother. The adapter fits snugly on my 1/2" breaker bar and gives you good leverage without having to worry about slipping off like some other tools I've tried. The size is compact enough to fit in tight spots around the transmission housing which was my main concern. I used it with a 18" extension and it worked well for getting the right angle to pop the axle out. The build quality seems solid - no flex or bending when applying pressure. One thing I noticed is that it does disconnect pretty easily if you apply sideways pressure, which can be good or bad depending on what you're doing. The edges are clean and well-machined, no rough spots that would damage other components. Only downside I found is that it's a bit light weight so you don't get as much "oomph" as a traditional pry bar, but the adjustability makes up for it. Also wish it came with better instructions since the packaging just has basic info. For the price point it's a decent addition to the toolbox and saved me from having to buy a whole new pry bar set. Would work well for other jobs that need precise leverage in cramped spaces too.

Wish I had found these years ago. Great for getting into tight d spaces where you need different angles to pull. Good solid build quality. Everyone needs these in their toolbox.

I’m a pretty big fan of these type of prybar attachments. Especially for tight spaces. I have found them especially useful when trying to get axles out. My one gripe with these is how loose the adapter sits on a ratchet. If you don’t have any pressure on it, they will just fall right out. Other than that, they seem well-made and thick enough where I don’t feel like they will bend unless under extreme pressure in which case you probably have bigger issues. They’re small and take up no apace in my toolbox so definitely worth having.

I guess I should've read the sizes, but from the photo it looks like the big one takes a 1/2 drive and the small one takes a 3/8. That's not the case, they're both 1/2" drive. Neat idea tho and will work well to replace my prybar for weight reduction in my air-travel toolbox.

The first time I tested these, it was mainly to see if it would fit onto my rachet. Both pry bars passed that test. When it came to using these, I first tested these on picking up some poles and even some wooden posts. Not only did the bars not break but I was able to lift. I mainly did this to see if the weight of whatever I was moving or lifting would break these bars and test their durability. To my surprise, they really are durable. I now use these for home and work use and no matter what I'm doing, these pry bars not only help but I haven't had these break, crack or chip under pressure. They stay secure on my ratchet too. No slipping or moving at all! These things are definitely a lot more durable than I thought they were going to be.

When I applied force, there was no wobbling, which meant that I could place the adapter exactly against the inner joint housing rather than having to tinker with the alignment. My ability to work rapidly was made possible by this instant stability, which enabled me to slide the assembly over the end of the shaft and engage leverage in a single uninterrupted action. My first test was a rear-wheel-drive vehicle with an axle that had been in place for more than a decade. I was able to overcome this obstacle. The shaft was able to be freed without the typical twisting or abrupt popping that may cause damage to the components that are located in the surrounding area. This was accomplished by securely seating the adapter around the half-shaft flange and pushing gently. In the latter part of the week, I used the identical configuration on a vehicle whose driveshaft fit snugly in its housing. Despite the tight tolerances, the adapter guided my pry bar precisely, which allowed me to pull straight without tilting or binding. One of the most notable advantages is the way in which this adapter head directs my leverage down the axis of the shaft. I was able to insert the adapter-pry bar combination at a shallow angle and coax the half-shaft out inch by inch in engine compartments that were so crowded that it was difficult to use a standard wrench to make a complete swing. One of the outcomes that I had not been able to accomplish with makeshift pullers was the prevention of unintended contact with surrounding brake lines or suspension arms. This degree of control prevented such contact.
