We use this for our long-haired chihuahua because her breeder (who works exclusively with that breed) recommended it. She likes it and does not tend to over eat. She has a shiny coat and has not yet been sick (1.5 years old), so I assume it has been healthy for her.

This food was recommended by our dog trainer as she uses it for her 5 dogs also. Our boy took right to it and seems to be enjoying it immensely. Had problems shifting before from other brands. Not with this one he makes a Happy Bowl every time. Order second bag already this will become our go to food from now on.

I’ve been feeding this kibble to my 5 year old Boston Terrier for the majority of her adult life. It’s the only food that she will consistently eat! She’s never had any issues with the food and she stays trim and healthy. Just wish it was easier to find!

Malti-Poo mutt seems to eat this food reluctantly, once the real meat is gone, and the meat sauce has entered and softened the pellets. She does not spit it out, just eats it at the very hungriest times. This helps to keep the doggie at it's proper fighting weight and not getting fat from over-eating. If food is presented dry, dog simply sniffs it and ignores it for an entire day before nibbling at it. I suspect the roughly 3/8" diameter, 1/8" thick, round pellets are too stiff for the 10-pound dog to munch in its small jaw and weak bite strength. Your results with your miniature Pit Bull may differ...! LOL. Food has a "healthy" smell, not a rotting intestinal odor that some foods seem to emit. Ingredients claim to be high quality; seems this is true.
