  • Buyers remorse
Size: XX-Large Color: Stone
The hood, I hate the hood and collar on this coat. Their in the way. If your fishing in a driving rain they may come in handy, but not for an average rainy day. When you zip the coat all the way up it rubs under your chin and neck, which is very irritating to me, especially if I'm out on the stream casting, moving my head and shoulders, unfortunately you can't roll the hood up or removing it when not being used, to get it out of the way you have to fold it inside out so it doesn't rub the back of your head every time you move your head. The elastic waist causes the coat to ride up Every time I raise my arm to cast, but it could be the draw string is to short and causes the coat to bunch up at the waist. I do like theay out of the pockets, placed in good locations, easy to get to, and fairly spacious. The color is a drab color, which I like with my fishing gear. The size is ok, I got a xx so I could wear layers under it (I like to fly fish in January and February), the jackets seems to be made wider to accommodate the XX size but not front to back, but this again could be a result of the waist being to tight. I'm still debating whether to return the jacket or not, since I already have it. If I would have tried this jacket on in a store, I wouldn't have purchased! ... show more

  • Great event or trip jacket when you expect rain or wind.
Size: Large Color: Stone
Ok, so I was looking for a lightweight shell to hike in, walk the dog in, and walk to work in. I live in New England along the coast so we get a good amount of rain and wind. The first jacket I received came in on time but would not zip up. The process to send it back was easy and a new one arrived about three days later. The process was easy. Overall, I like the jacket but it is not really made to handle daily use. Within a month it had become very fiberous along the interior arms, sides, and shoulders. About a week after I started wearing it a pocket snagged on a branch and ripped up along the seam. On the good side, it is waterproof and breathable. I have worn it in a number of heavy rains and in snow. It also does a great job of blocking the wind. So I think if you want something for short trips or for occasional use this is a great jacket but I don't think I would recommend it as a shell for the whole winter season. ... show more

  • Didn't last long...
Size: X-Large Color: Stone
I like this jacket. However the main chest pocket zipper threading has come apart. In the best pocket for my phone and car keys. I usually get a few big waves come up on me while I'm sure fishing. Can't have my phone and keys getting wet. Disappointed with the quality of the sewing. Arms get wet at the cuff. Does keep out wind and keeps my back dry. Kind of a bulky fit. Bought it in October, wore pretty much every weekend for an hour or two. Started falling apart in 6 weeks. ... show more

  • A wader jacket that doesn't cost a hundred bucks
Size: Large Color: Stone
How come I can buy a rain coat for 30 dollars but, a smaller wader jacket costs a hundred? I don't need a bunch of pockets - how about 2. This jacket fits the cost limitation and has 4 pockets. This jacket feels like vapor barrier material that is stitched and taped together. It feels dry - even after a storm. ... show more

  • I have Frogg Togg waders for fly fishing, and cold weather liners, all of them work very well.
Size: X-Large Color: Stone
I've run though several variations of rain coats, and not one of them kept the water off, and allowed for airflow. This coat is the answer. One of the problems with my past raincoats is that while they can keep the water off, your body heat exhausting is held with the liner of the coat, and no matter what your working on you will be miserable. Finally a coat that breathes. ... show more

  • Great All Weather Jacket
Size: Large Color: Stone
This is a great jacket. I just used it for a week of fly fishing in Montana. Fished in conditions from thunderstorms and heavy rain to blowing snow and freezing temperatures. Great outer layer, perfect with a fleece and good base layers on the cold days. The neoprene cuffs on the sleeves do a good job of keeping water out when you get your hands wet. Does a good job as well when all you need is a wind breaker. Nice and light weight, perfect for the back pack on the long days of hiking and wade fishing. This is my new go ever-where jacket! ... show more

  • Junk at best.
Size: X-Large Color: Stone
Possibly one of the worst quality items I’ve purchased. I believe items from wish are of higher quality. The first time I attempted to use this the zipper failed and a button was missing. I am beyond frustrated as I purchased this a few months ago to be able to put to use and it is past the return timeframe. Would highly recommend going with something other than this junk. ... show more

  • Great Purchase
Size: X-Large Color: Stone
I got this for surf fishing on the Washington coast. As a technical wading rain jacket it is great. The cut and sizing is perfect for me at 6', 200lbs, even with my extra long arms. The pockets are well placed, generous, and waterproof. It is very light and comfortable, I can wear it all day with full comfort. All the design elements work very well, from the custom hood cinching to the neoprene cuffs and the rod holder, it all works great. The cut is for full body motion, even with waders and jacket underneath, but as just a windbreaker over a t-shirt its still very light and comfortable. The fabric is unique. it is soft and matte and quiet and feels more papery than rubbery or plastic and seems strong enough to last a long time. Looks good, feels good, works good, at a price I can handle. gotta give it the 5 ... show more
