Used these at a very hot air show where we were baking in the sun. I rotated two, by wetting and re-wetting and wrapping around my neck. They really work and when on the neck, seem like little “blood coolers” that can make the perceived temperature 5-7 degrees lower. They take the edge off a very hot day and keep your body just cool enough. Glad I had them and will use again. I store them in a ziplock in the fridge.

Great at cooling. You wet it, wrap it around the neck and do sports. It keeps your body temperature down. When it dries, wet it again, and it cools again. Awesome. The only issue I have with this is, it bleeds. Everything this towel touched while wet turned blue. When you wet it and wring it out, you can see the blue water running. I washed this in the washer in cold water prior to using it for the first time. It still bled.

Great cheap long lasting way to stay cool in the yard or bike rides. Also a MUST for Disney World. If you’ve ever used a synthetic shammy, this feels like the same material. Simply wet the cloth, wring it out, and you have a cool neck for hours. No warm clammy neck after and no dampening your shirt.

I got the Chilly Pad and these to see which one works better(or...worst case use both) and I have to say I like the larger Chilly Pad much better. This is the same fabric and works the same way the Chilly Pad does...meaning you wet it, place it on your neck, head, face, wrists to keep cool. I think this one is just too narrow to provide as much of an effect as the Chilly Pad does. Being that this one is narrow but same length as a Chilly Pad...it reaches the same as far as draping around the back of my neck, but I think since you only get 1 layer of fabric when you place it on your neck, the fabric warms too easily from your body heat and doesn't provide as much of a cooling effect. Where the Chilly Pad is wide and you have to bunch it up when you place it on your neck and when you turn it every 10 to 15 min....it is farily easy to keep the refreshing cooling effect for pretty much the whole time you're wearing it. These smaller ones (Chilly Mini)would be good for little ones or maybe when you're feeling under the weather and can keep your head feeling cool. But, for me there was a marked difference & reduction in the cooling effect of this size verses the Chilly Pad size. Still a fantastic product though.

I work outdoors in the heat of the Midwest Summers and it can be challenging not to get overheated. I actually wear the mini tied around my head. It is much better than the tennis type headbands and keeps the sweat out my eyes as well. I also have the neck wrap, full size but find it's not cold enough to do anything. A wet lightweight towel around my neck works better. The wraps do wash well and hold the moisture for a good amount of time.

My daughter had a terrible allergic reaction on her skin that took doctor visits and weeks to heal. The material says “100% synthetic”, so it’s hard to know what exactly it is made out of. Be cautious if your skin is sensitive at all.
