Maybe I just didn't read the whole description but it has a timer setting that u can set so the lights turn on at the same time everyday/night automatically! That's my favorite part! I call this my “winter tree”, and still have it up. It puts off a very gentle light that’s not overpowering or too bright. I’ve had it on every night since before Christmas, and every light is still lit. The branches are somewhat bendable, and can be positioned as you like. The bark looks like real birch, and it was super easy to put together. I gave this 4 stars because I purchased a different brand for my mom, that was cheaper. I love this tree it was so easy to go together and the branches bend so you can do it just the way you want it has lights and they worked to boot. I had to get something that was fur baby safe as I have 2 little ones. After the holidays I’m going to put it in another area of the house with the lights off as I love it. The trees are offered at a very fair price point and while lightweight and plastic, they do have a realistic appearance once the branches are groomed. The timer function was appealing and has worked just as advertised, but in a very, very short period of time both trees' lights began dimming. These trees consume battery power (3 Energizer Max AAs in each) at a rate making them less than cost efficient for even moderate use. For this reason, I'd suggest consumers look elsewhere--and possibly for corded trees if they intend to use them with any regularity. ... show more

I am so in love with this tree. Going to find ornaments for November thru March holidays, as we have snow those months so this tree fits the decor themes very well. Holy tamoly. This looks like something left over from a yard sale that nobody wanted. It's cheesy looking with white tape and black pen markings for the bark. The base was also very dirty/dusty. Keep looking if you want a lit Halloween tree....
