OK, it fits, so it gets a "3." But what does it actually do? There is no air circulating through this thing, so I don't know how it can be called a filter. There is no hole in the back of the filter box itself, so no air can be going through the filter element. It just hangs there along the side of the fridge - how can that be doing anything at all? I'll not be replacing this thing in the future, and neither should you. Just reset the replacement warning light. ... show more

    • These filters are the real deal...fit snug and have fanfold surface area.
These are much better than the off brand "generic" filters that I had purchased last time which are too thin along with being a "straight, flat" filter surface. These new ones that are Frigidaire brand fit snug in the filter holder/sleeve and have a fan fold surface which increases the surface area of the filter material as well. Will definitely stick with these from now on...only need 2 per year...so the extra cost is worth it. ... show more

A little pricey for a tiny filter, not sure about replacing every 6 months either.. Maybe annually.. Easy to install in the fridge for, I write the date on it so I don't forget when I changed it..

I needed something to help remove those terrible orders in my refrigerator and these are helpful. I wish they were cheaper but I bought them because I needed help and they provide that help.

    • Keeps those science experiments from smelling...
Either my olfactory nerve has shriveled up and quit working or this filter works well. I tend to forget about leftovers until they overpower me when I open the refrigerator door. I’m not remembering about leftovers any better now than before; they just don’t stink as bad.
