Upon purchase I received a nice email from the vendor with links to software download and setup guides. First strike: None of the links work! I contact support and receive the correct links. I download software and startup the device. Now, the device projects a QR code to register the device. The QR code takes you to a login screen with no method to create a login! Strike Two! The login screen also has Google or Microsoft login options. Both Google and Microsoft block the login as a potential malicious site. Strike Three! I'm currently waiting for customer support to advise how I'm supposed to login to register the device, without a login or ability to create one! Update: Customer Support is great. They explained that they had launched a new website, but the links were still pointing to the old website. I was able to get a login in order to setup as a standalone player. This will require a subscription to their cloud-based solution. The unit is not a standalone player on its own. It either needs the paid cloud-based solution or a local PC running as a server with their software. The cloud-based setup works great and has some really neat features. I especially like the ability to display social media content. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that we will need to pay for the yearly subscription after the included year.     • Strange issues with SpaceDesk software
Every 3- 5 days Spacedesk on the player will stop and have to be restarted by either unplugging or by the Mawi Spacewall software.

    • Not easy to set up
The device might work fine for an I.T. company, but I could not figure out how to set it up. I'm pretty good at computers, and I wouldn't hold it against them... IF it came with any instructions or any instructions were easy to find.... The only video I could find was how to install it, which is the easy part. Once installed I couldn't get it to do anything.
