This is a tough one to review. The adhesive worked the first time but because of the angle it was at the key wouldn't go in the lock and turn. I had to peel the lock off and move it and of course after that it wouldn't stick properly. So if you are sure of the placement the first time it should be fine. There is a TON of residue that I can't remove left behind from the adhesive. ... show more

I was forbidden from drilling holes in them, so these sticky pads are really good. The cable lock is easy enough to use. My ADHD 6 year old, of average strength, managed to break the actual locking part in a single tug. I **WISH** I were exaggerating. We installed as described in the instructions, waited 48 hours before locking to be safe, andddd she just ripped it out... if you're looking to proof the house from anyone but a very small child - don't buy this. Also, since the keys are all the same, if one goes missing whomever you're trying to keep out of your stuff will be able to get into everything. Now my problem is the adhesive is TOO strong to get them off the fridge... 🙃🤦♀️ ... show more

I love the lock itself. But the packaging is highly deceiving, it says safe and nontoxic materials that will not have any effect on human body. But when you open up the package, there is a little packet of primer adhesion Promoter that if it gets on your skin, you have to wash and rinse for 15 minutes otherwise it can become a medical emergency, even if you inhale it. I didn’t know what this stuff was and I trusted the outer packaging so I took it in my hand before reading and wiped the surface that I’d put the lock on and it smelled so strong and toxic, and part of my finger started becoming a weird purple color so I had to sit and rinse it for a long time. I hope this doesn’t cause further damage to my finger or airways. ... show more
