  • Cuts beautifully, but kerf is almost too thin...
Style: 10-Inch by 40-Teeth 30-Degree Hi-ATB Pre...
The stock riving knife on my DeWalt 7840 portable table saw spec's a 0.093" minimum kerf width. This blade has a 0.091" kerf. Since the actual thickness of the riving knife is 0.089", it would work if everything was perfectly aligned, but, alas, it's not...it's slightly off center and cuts with this blade rub against the knife. I ended up buying a different blade with a 0.098" kerf and have been sawing happily ever since. Three years later, this guy is still hanging on the wall... Bottom line - check the specs and the alignment of your saw's riving knife before buying. Without the riving knife, this blade cuts very smoothly, but that's a safety hazard that I'm not willing to take. Another 0.02" and I'd be giving it 5 stars. As-is, it only gets three. ... show more

  • Seems like a great value. Great finish on ply cuts
Style: 10-Inch by 40-Teeth 30-Degree Hi-ATB Pre...
Bought as a general purpose so I'm not using my more expensive blades on plywood cabinet projects where finish is less of a concern. From the few cuts I made in some sheet goods it appears to be a glue ready cut. Not the best material to make the claim but I saw no blade marks at all. Minimal to no tearout on the veneer with a zero clearance. I'll have to try cross cutting the grain to really tell. For $60ish I'm not sure you can go wrong. I cant speak to the life of the carbide yet but there's enough there for some sharpening. Update: so I did a side by side with a more expensive 40t blade on 8/4 walnut. Cut had noticeably more fuzziness compared to the more expensive blade. I still stand by it being a great value and it does great on ply. Its not a $120-$150 blade. ... show more

  • You will giggle the first time you make a cut!!
Style: Premier Fusion 12-Inch 48 Tooth Hi-ATB P...
First things first: If you have a blade on your miter saw that came with the saw, buy this blade and make the change immediately. I wish I had known the difference would be this dramatic. I cut through 3-in black walnut yesterday with ease. You could push the handle down with a feather. It barely even adds additional sound. I have a Dewalt 12-in saw that I purchased in 2005. The original blade still cuts like the day I got it. I thought it was just fine. Unfortunately, I've never known the difference. If you've only used standard (in the box) blades, I can guarantee you will giggle the first time you use this. Stop reading reviews and add this to your cart. ... show more

  • EXCELLENT seller, fantastic blade!
Style: 10-Inch by 40-Teeth 30-Degree Hi-ATB Pre...
Kentec knows what it means to provide first rate customer service, and they do a fantastic job of delivering it. I have been buying Freud blades for many years, all great. This time, I received a defective blade (random factory defect). I contacted Kentec and they replied almost instantly. They took care of everything, from contacting Freud to issuing a call tag. They had a replacement on its way FAST, before I even had the call tag from Freud to ship the other blade back. You could not ask for a better seller. The blade is fantastic. I had a custom thin kerf spliter made for my 1.5 hp Powermatic and the thin kerf blade does an excellent job of slicing through 8/4 hard maple with no vibration. I had been using a full kerf Freud industrial before, and my saw got the job done, but it was a struggle. I would have to push really hard and fast, or risk burning. As a smaller woman, it wasn't fun. This blade really does make it easier, no burning & no saw marks. All around perfect experience. ... show more

  • Super Smooth Cuts
Style: 10-Inch by 40-Teeth 30-Degree Hi-ATB Pre...
This will come as no surprise to seasoned woodworkers but the stock blade that comes with your saw is more than likely garbage. When I got my table saw the blade was badly aligned but even after correcting for that there was still prominent teeth marks (up and down) in my cuts. I finally decided to upgrade to this blade halfway through a more detailed project and wow does it cut smooth. The only defects in the cut are if I don't feed the piece through properly and it rubs against the blade on the way out. Otherwise the cuts are finish smooth. The carbide teeth are probably 2 to 3 times the size of what is on a Dewalt blade. ... show more

  • Do they make a better blade?
Style: 10-Inch by 40-Teeth 30-Degree Hi-ATB Pre...
Always satisfied with Freud this is my 3rd blade, Freud Fusion blades are great no complaints. Once a year I clean the blade with simple green and tooth brush works like new again, not that I notice much of a difference. I would recommend the fusion blades to any woodworker/ Diyer/ hobbiest.

  • Amazing
I recently put one of these blades on my old BT3000 table saw. The only word I have to describe it is "amazing". The saw went through a piece of 2.5" Maple smoothly and cleanly without bogging down. The cut surface was so smooth that it could have gone to glue-up without any further processing. Cross cuts on plywood show no tearing. I didn't even bother to score the plywood before cutting and I got perfect cuts in both maple and birch plywood. This blade does generate more wind than the original blade on the saw. So much so that dust collection is much more of a problem than before. I will gladly live with that as long as I am getting these results. I balked at first about putting such an expensive blade on an old low cost table saw. It was exactly the right thing to do. ... show more

  • Tear Free rip & crosscuts on 3/4” birch plywood.
Style: 10-Inch by 40-Teeth 30-Degree Hi-ATB Pre...
Just used it for first time and it gives much much better cut quality when compared to Diablo 60 tooth ATB saw blade and this has 40 teeth. Wow what an amazing blade. Wish I had a 3HP+ saw so that I could get the full kerf but on my Ridgid R4512 saw thin kerf blades perform better.
