I decided to give this one a try and this is my last one because I have more than I want. This juicer is big! It comes with such a detailed instructions that’s easy to understand. My husband and I were very pleased, he said putting it together it was pre coupled, so he didn’t have to do much, we used it the first day we bought to make sure it works and so we can see the cleaning process, cleaning process was fast and easy, everything including juicing was 20 mins, I timed it. We juiced grapes and it got everything out. The delivery was fast and timely and they requested a signature to make sure it gets to me, I love that customer service.     • Wide Chute Slow Juicer is the best

This is my second slow juicer. My first one had a skinny chute that I would use once or twice a week. I would spend about 2 hours cutting veggies up, then juicing a big load. Cutting the fruit and veggies to small pieces got tiring after a few months and I stopped using it. I am so glad for this wide chute slow juicer. The unit was very easy to remove from the box and assemble. Not having to cut up carrots into bite size pieces before juicing felt good. The juicer is sturdy and powerful.. Each single whole carrot got broken down within seconds of placing it in the chute. The pulp was dry. The only negative is that at the end there was some carrot pulp that stayed collected in the chute and did not go to the juicer. The slant design of the chute prevents from making sure every bit of precious vegetable and fruit goes can be juiced. The wand to use in the chute has a grover and canot be turned around. Clean up was a breeze. I was told my first time around that the jslow juicer has to be washed right away to prevent a messy cleanup later as the bits of fruit and veggie can stick. This unit is dishwasher safe but i just wash it by hand so its not sitting waiting to be washed. I would highly recommend this juicer to anyone who is looking for a slower juicer. We have enjoyed buying the different varieties of juices available at the grocery store and recently tried some offerings from the local cold press. I had considered getting a juicer on and off over a long period of time and decided that the slow process would be the way to go. This juicer offers that slow process, spitting out very dry fibrous waste. The construction is sturdy, the motor sounds strong and there is very little vibration on the countertop. We have had great success with apples and pears, even getting our young child to enjoy that combo. We've tried many other fruits and greens as well, which were no challenge for the machine. It even juiced ginger, though I think it would be best to do this last as the fibers began to clog the screen. We haven't had any luck with avocado, it's too thick to fit through the screen and just rolls around in the mashing zone necessitating a messy clean out. Making your own juice is an investment. Good produce is expensive. Set up, juicing and cleanup, while not overly challenging, take much more time than opening the container from the grocery. While we are not juicing every day, we will continue to enjoy experimenting with this machine. The included recipe booklet is a great start and you can make your own combinations from seasonal produce. ... show more

This juicer saves me so much time because i'm able to juice large chunks of fruit at a time! It's a dream because it makes juicing so much easier and efficient. Machine is also pretty easy to clean afterwards, which is a plus because I'm more motivated to use it more often.

I grew up in a juicer household using one of those classic, loud Juiceman machines. This thing is a game-changer. I appreciate the different speeds for different fruits/vegetables and also that it’s so much quieter than I expected. I wouldn’t say juicers are usually the easiest things go clean, but this one took me about a minute to take apart and rinse which is pretty great. It’s handled all the hard fruits and veggies I’ve thrown at it including citrus with its peel, so the thing is pretty tough. I’d recommend to anyone else getting into juicing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This juicer is really not what I expected when wanted to make home made juice out of different fruits and vegetables. At first glance this looks like a good easy thing to have, but as you start to feed in the fruits and vegetables you start to notice that you need almost three times the amount of produce to get just one glass full. You will notice a lot of produce is just left spinning in the screw press and doesn't advance forward to get the maximum amount of juice out. Cleaning is a nightmare as the whole press piece is just difficult to clean due to the angles. The press assembly does come out, and each piece can be cleaned separately, but it;s a lot of work and you must clean it right away or else it will be harder to clean if any of the produce dries and sticks to the plastic. ... show more
