We recently moved to a home with faux hardwood floors. I do a lot of standing in the kitchen, cooking my little heart out, having loads of fun, but standing on the hard floor was making my ankles and knees ache. Okay, I'm old, and I ache easily. BUT. I had one smaller anti-fatigue mat that I had put in front of the sink, but wanted a longer one that would fit the area by my stove and work counter. I saw this almost 18" x 60" thick, anti-fatigue mat, in a very nice light grey pattern, and ordered. Wow! Duh! What took me so long? The price was very reasonable, and my ankles and knees are literally oohing and awwing with relief. What a difference. The mat is very cushy. It has an anti-skid backing, so it stays put. The edges are beveled, so you do not stub your toe or trip on it--important when you are old, like me. It is of course waterproof, and any spills wipe up easily. Big messes are easy to clean up, too. The mat is made of memory foam. It is very strong and durable, and should last forever. Maybe even longer than me, in which case my two daughters will be fighting over it! I am delighted to have this mat, and so is Hubby. It has made a real difference in my comfort levels, and let me spend more time in the kitchen, which truly is my favorite place to be. I would recommend this mat without hesitation to anyone who is looking for a little more comfort in their life. It could, of course, be used in any room where standing is problematic. It would also make a great gift for anyone who has a few aches and pains and finds standing for long periods problematic. I absolutely love it.

A lot of time is spent prepping family dinners or hand-washing pots on our kitchen island. Standing on your feet can cause pains that are the unfortunate byproduct of long hours spent in the kitchen. Between our hard flooring and improper footwear, it can feel impossible to completely eliminate foot fatigue for those of us who adore cooking as a hobby. However, this seems to be a solution. And relief comes in this nicely cushioned mat. The Chic Boho Design mat goes well with the decor of our kitchen as well as matches the hardwood floor. It features a stylish look, repels spills and liquids, trip-free edges, easily wipes clean and seems to be high quality that will withstand daily use in high-traffic areas. I walk around barefoot most of the time and the mat is comfortable while I am chopping onions on the cutting board watching MasterChef or Pawn Stars on TV. My girlfriend really likes it as well, both visually and practical use. The mat slid around on hardwood floors, so as a remedy, I applied double-sided tape on the bottom. Also, when we first took it out of the box, we noticed a strong plastic smell that thankfully went away after a couple of days.

Reviewing the Freshmint 17x39 Stone Grey, trellis anti-fatigue mat: I bought this mat for the laundry room (see photos). We have an anti-fatigue mat in the kitchen (a different manufacturer) and it feels good on my knees, so I decided to get one for the laundry room under the stationary sink. This mat is even spongier than the one I have upstairs. It does have a chemical smell that has taken over the small room, but I know that it will fade soon. And after being rolled tight for shipping, it relaxed and straightened within a few hours. If you've never used an anti-fatigue mat, you might trip (not fall) or stub your toe, because it's elevated. But you quickly learn how not to do that. The reasons I like this mat are 1) takes pressure off your legs and back when you're washing something in the sink; 2) it doesn't slip around like a rug; and 3) you can easily clean it by wiping it off! It's so nice to not have to be vacuuming and machine washing rugs. I do wish they sold these in more patterns.

We've had an anti-fatigue mat but didn't replace it after the dogs decided it would be a fun chew toy. The last mat didn't agree with the robo vac; this one has played nicely with it so far. The mat does well at keeping kitchen sink and counter spills off the floor, but the dog has already gnawed off a chunk (raw egg is irresistable). Overall, this is a great buy. I'd recommend this for families without rowdy dogs, and I would buy this again.

This is a very attractive mat. It’s got beveled edges so I do not trip on it. The mat is soft and it feels cushy to stand on it when I am working in the kitchen. I love the color and design. It really brightens up the space and looks a lot like a fabric rug with the textured sophisticated warm beige tones and geometric pattern. This mat is easy to clean and so far has not shown any staining or discoloration. It doesn’t slip or slide around without my intending it to either. My robo-vac went right up over the edges easily and it wasn’t an issue. I’m really happy with this and would get it again. I recommend this mat.
