The necklace itself is dainty and has a nice adjustable chain that makes it easy to wear with different necklines. I really liked the minimalist style, but I was disappointed with the stone. In the photos it looked bright and clear, but in person it looked almost smoky, like it had a film or dust on it. I even kept wiping it, thinking it just needed to be cleaned, but that’s just how the stone looks. Pretty design overall, but the stone wasn’t as eye-catching as I hoped.

Beautiful necklace that comes in a lovely box. The necklace itself is delicate and worth the price. You can tell it isn’t very high end, but it doesn’t look tacky or cheap either. The box has some really senseless words on it “Best Wishes. Remember, you are my angel forever. Happy every day”. That makes no sense. But other than that it would make a lovely gift (except for those words on the box) or a cute purchase for yourself. I would’ve preferred a box with a bit of embossing or pattern or even a logo on it rather than these words. But for the price, it’s okay. The clasp is easy to use. Haven’t used it for more than a couple days so I can’t say how it will last. I don’t wear it into the shower.

The media could not be loaded. Is it real amethyst? Perhaps. Amethyst is a quartz which when you look at this stone under light does show inclusions typically found in amethyst. Also it has subtle color zoning or variations which are consistent with real amethyst. I checked it under a UV light and it appears to be consistent with real amethyst in not being overly phosphorescent. I haven’t done a scratch test nor have I taken it to a jeweler but based on these initial tests it seems to be consistent with a real amethyst. And it seemed to heat slowly upon touch. The confusion about the description to me is that it states it’s 14K…but then when you read below that it says material is brass. So I believe maybe the 14K is plating? My experience with this finish is that it will be durable while also being tarnish resistant as long as it doesn’t get exposed to heavy lotions or chemicals like perfume being sprayed directly on it. Either way, this necklace is a beautiful dupe of the Kendra Scott “Elisa” pendant necklace and it’s at a great price point. I like the length of chain (15” approx) as it sits right in the hollow of the clavicle which for me is where I’d want this style to sit. I also like this size which is durable yet dainty. The lightness of the chain also gives a floating quality to the necklace. I think it’s a perfect gift for a young lady especially if they have a February birthday.

It's a very beautiful necklace, and lovely presentation. However, the description said it was on a 15" chain and adjustable, but it was still too small for my neck (even on the largest setting). It was kind of like a choker rather than a necklace. I will either need to get an extender or give it to my daughter (which I guess would be fine too). Maybe before you buy, measure your neck or a necklace that you have that fits well, just to make sure it will fit you the way you would like.
