It would be nice if you could control the radius but that's not what this is about. It's about making simple bends in simple, small diameter tubing. It does this very well and quickly. I bought two despite their stupid high price so I could do both 1/4" and 3/8" tubes. I don't regret the purchase.

I love these benders. I have them in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch sizes and use them for all kinds of tubing. Perfect for stainless. No distortion in the bends and the best design. Well known manufacturer that stands behind their products. Those rollers make all the difference. I own 3 of these ridged benders. 3/8, 1/2, and 5/8. Love them all and wouldn’t buy another brand. Ridged makes the most accurate benders that I’ve used, well worth the investment.

This tool is made for professionals and hobbyists alike. I bought them on the recommendation of some retired Union Pipe Fitter that swore them. I can make accurate smooth bends in thick to thin walled 316 stainless steel tubing.

I own several sizes of this bender (1/4, 5/16, 3/8, and 1/2). I don't bend stainless tubing every day, but when I do, these are nice to have around. They are easy to use and create smooth bends.
