I used it to get my kayaks off the ground and on a proper stand. It went together easy, looks great and I feel it is very sturdy. (pardon the dirty kayaks) I am very happy and would definitely buy it again. I like that it holds 3 kayaks.

The rack is quick to assemble and is sturdy enough to store two large iRocker SUP boards & paddles. You can probably hang items on the rear also, life-jackets etc. The rack is light enough to be moved by one person. I have placed it close to the parking area to easily carry the boards to and from the car. The paint coating is of good quality, it will withstand wet and humid conditions well. ... show more

We have 3 - 10 ft kayaks (2 sit on top and 1 sit inside). We debated on getting the 3 or 4 rack. We went with the 4 because we may end up getting a 4th kayak at some point. We also wanted enough room from the ground to the first kayak so our dog wouldn't be able to pee on the kayak. We have ours set up at our seasonal site for our camper. We put a 5 ft x 3 ft patio block pad underneath for a solid, level base. So far, we are very pleased with the sturdiness of the rack. This was by far the best option we found online when doing our research for a free standing rack for 3 to 4 kayaks on a single side of the rack. Assembly was easy with minimal tools needed. I purchased the 3 level version of this rack for my lake house and I am extremely impressed with the product. Assembling the rack was surprisingly easy and only took me about 20 minutes to put together. I was initially skeptical about the durability of the rack arms supporting my kayaks, but once the pins were inserted, the storage arms were very secure. I purchased this rack since it was more expensive than others and looked heavier duty. It is not. It is fairly easy to assemble, but very light and not very substitutional. We have 2 tandem kayaks, well under 1oo lbs each but they are too much for the rack - a third wouldn't be possible. Maybe decent if you had 1 kayak and 2 paddle boards.
