It has a weird texture. It is a gel but grainy so it is difficult to make it stick when applying. The moment you apply it, you can feel your skin heat up. And I don't mean gentle warmth. It gets hot. I can tolerate it because I have thick skin, but I wonder about others. I cannot rub it on my skin because when I remove it, my skin is red (activates rosacea). And because my skin is oily, it activates the oil glands, and I get kind of greasy afterward. If I don't rub it and remove it at the 5-minute mark, it's fine.
