This is a really cool hoop. My son enjoyed the LED lights and that it keeps track of the score. Only one pretty big flaw that they should definitely mention, it will only work on a door that opens/swings out. Unfortunately my son’s door is at the end of the hallway and opens/swings into his room. The LED strip that goes around the hoop is higher than the door so the door can’t shut. If you are putting it on a closet door at the end of the hallway, it works great. Hope that helps, as we are now trying to figure out another way to make it work for my son! ... show more

So far so good. My son loves it. He had one before, it was flimsy and didn't have foam protection on the back (scratched up the door it was on), like this one. He loves the LED and scoring feature. Seems very sturdy. He's made no complaints.

My son loves this mini hoop! The cool thing about it is that it flashes and tells you the score. Also, when he went to his nanas house for the summer he took this with him and it was a hit with the cousins. I would just suggest that you hang this up on a sturdy door, so that it isn't so loud when the ball goes in the hoop or when you slam dunk it (like my son loves to do). I have put it on the front door on the interior portion of the house which works for us! ... show more

I'm glad I decided to put this together a few days before Christmas and not wait until the stress of Christmas Eve to discover tye poor quality control. For the most part this was easy to put together, but one of the screw/nuts did not screw together (and the included tools were worthless). I ended up needing to use locking pliers to hold in place and force the nut to rethread onto the bolt to be able to finally install it. Also... the ball comes deflated and flat in the box and despite inflating, massaging and inflating some more it is still a deformed blob (and smaller than I expected as well). Hopefully it will round out after a few days or weeks of use but it is going to look pretty crappy in Christmas morning. Despite the above, it seems pretty sturdy and I like the led lights (which go around the entire backboard). I'm hoping it will hold up as many others have promised. Just disappointing that it was so much work to assemble and that the ball doesn't round out. ... show more
