Faulty item. Even with batteries or USB card, once powered on, it displays NO SD CARD, then powers off. This does not even accept an SD card !!! Spent 35 minutes on phone with Amazon tech, and only solution was to return item. Very disappointed.

So far so good. It's a little different from my other Franklin dictionary, but easy enough to get used to using. I use it for mainly crossword puzzles. I need something that is easy and fast to check spelling or definitions. Some words are not there, but surprisingly some unexpected words are there. It is slow to boot up initially, but only takes a second, then works quickly. The letters are easy to read and clear. I've only used this as a dictionary to find English words so I cannot say what quality the Spanish dictionary is. There are not many of these available, so that's why I'm leaving this review. Also, I've only had it for a month or so, but I do use it every day. Not sure how long it will last. ... show more

I do crossword puzzles , this is amazing it even has zoom for old eyes. Great buy. Dont EVER buy from Collins its garbage. This is Franklin and i have always liked there machines

Sadly not a patch on my old Seiko which has been discontinued but adequate. No encyclopedia. Screen is also very small. Quite slow in comparison. Overall I would say it does what it says it does and is considerably cheaper than I paid for the Seiko probably 10 years ago. However I would gladly have paid more if a replacement Seiko had been available. ... show more
