Installed as the interior engine air filter on a 2011 Kia Optima EX. It was a very tight fit that required my male friend to push down on the cover as I struggled to pull the clasp around. The panels are gray color. My maintainence shop told me that my filter was dirty a few months later, but I think they expected the panel to be white colored like the ones they install. So I am not sure who to believe as I haven't check it myself, yet.

Great product, cheap fast delivery from Amazon. Very happy with these filters! Second year buying this product, great item. Just make sure the rubber seal is in the right position to avoid leaks around the edge that the filter sits on. Mechanic who showed me the old one wanting to charge me $35 to replace it (which I declined bc I was going to buy this and do it myself) reinstalled it like a jerk and the rubber seal was not on it correctly. FRAM Extra Guard CA11116 engine air filter arrived in an undamaged package BUT the filter inside the FRAM box shows voids in filter element that could result in debris and/or unfiltered air to enter and damage the engine on my 2014 Kia Cadenza. The inside of the FRAM box was clean, so the filter was NOT damaged in the box during transit. Alexander Peters posted pictures of this same defect with THREE FRAM FILTERS in a review in April 2022. It appears that this problem has existed for many months. I also purchased FRAM filters for our 2016 Kia Optima and 2015 Kia Soul. Those new filters look fine but now I am reluctant to install any of them.

This is a high quality Fram filter. Just be sure to double check to see if it fits your car. This fits a very narrow set of cars and years for the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid only. This DOES NOT fit the standard Sonata. happy with the service, speed of delivery and the price.
