I was shocked to see that it's so thinly made with about 1/3 of the filtration material compared to that of a stock Toyota filter (see picture). The main job of the filter is to filter and I don't understand what it will filter with that little material to block. In addition, Toyota filter has a foam pad as extra protection and fram is missing it completely, how is this OEM if it's not even close to being stock? I wouldn't trust this filter in dusty or off-road conditions at all. I suppose if you drive on paved roads with no sand, dust, or dirt you will be ok, but I am not taking any chances.
