The dealer wanted $75 to change the air filter, and the Pennzoil shop wanted $65. I put this in my 2007 Acura RDX and it took about 8 minutes, including finding and watching a YouTube video on my phone once I had the hood up.

I don't know how effective it is as an air filter, but I haven't noticed anything after changing the filter. The actual work to replace the filter was more than I anticipated, but it was doable. One of the screws was hard to access.
